The two other responses are both right... a very different movie. And yes, saying much more might spoil it, other than say it also has a great cast (Guy Pearce was Oscar worthy, and Carrie-Ann Moss and Joe Pantoliano were great supporting roles).

The Grey (2011) 7/10 Liam Neesen was great in this. Storyline obviously limited the movie a bit, but still enjoyed watching this quite a bit.

Children of Men (2006) 5/10 Bad cast. Storyline sucks.

Prometheus (2012) 6/10 Was waiting for the movie to develop. Then it ended.

    The Untouchables (1987)
7/10 Decent watch. Nice cast. Storyline was alright. Some scenes were a bit over the top.

Running Scared (2006) 5/10 Lots of silly scenes. Storyline was crap. Cast isn't great.

Unknown (2011) 6/10 This wasn't too bad for a pretty simple action flick. Kinda liked it actually. Not quite a 7, but better than most 6s.

Black Swan (2010) 7/10 This one was quite good. Well acted. Nice cast. Solid storyline.

The Razor's Edge - 8/10. Very well written. I don't watch many dramas, but this was a pretty smart movie. Apparently nobody wanted to see Bill Murray in a serious role in 1984. Recommended.

Watched Killer Joe last night on PPV. It's dark, twisted, and hilarious. Definitely earns it's NC-17 rating. Some people will be revolted by it, but me and the wife loved it. Matthew McConaughey really impressed me in this role. I will never look at a bucket of KFC fried chicken the same again.

    8/10

    Jack Reacher

6.5/10... good popcorn flick. Plot holes left me scratching my head though.

Isn't that movie fantastic? Somerset Maugham wrote perfect stuff for movie adaptation.

Mrs. B-Bob and I went to see Skyfall last night, and I give it a big MEH.

6/10 but could easily be 5/10. What a total waste of Bardem. He wasn't scary at all, and it's like they just wanted him to have even worse hair than in No Country for Old Men. (This they actually accomplished, which I thought was not possible.)

The Watch - 6/10 it was pretty funny to start but it felt like right after they brought that alien to the "base" everything got super gimmicky and trailed off.

Total Recall - 1/10 this movie sucked so bad me and my wife started having a convo about how Aliyah would or wouldn't have been an icon if she were still around... the one is solely on the fact that Beckinsale showed her beautiful face on this catastrophy of a flick. Everything else blah!

    The Watch - 5/10

So was all that a true story of Dennis Quid's character? Or did nobody else got to the ending?

Expendables 2 - Hard to rate since it is inherently supposed to be ridiculous. I enjoyed the comically bad dialogue and over the top violence. It was also fun to see JCVD as the bad guy.

    Looper - 8.5/10 - Entertaining ride

How to Survive a Plague – Moving and raw documentary roughly about the first 10 years of the AIDS epidemic, its victims and the activist. Nearly 80 percent of the film is footage from the activist as they dealt with trying to get meds and government support for treatment. It’s as fascinating as it is sad – A

The Queen of Versailles – Really well done documentary which really shows a first hand account of what one of these billionaires went through with the financial collapse. Nearly impossible to feel bad for these people since their general disconnect from real life is so apparent and vast - A

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Adventure: Saw it in 48FPS 3D. Didn't read the books, so I can't comment on extra/removed stuff. The story is quite entertaining and sometimes the camera movements/pans didn't help the 3D from so much stuff going on. All in all, it is a good film. Don't expect to learn a life story, but expect to learn a lot about camaraderie, friendship, and most of all, courage.

    Looper - 8.3
Casa De Mi Padre - 6.3
Case #39 - 2.1 (and that is only for the unintentional comedic value)
    A Good Old-Fashioned Orgy - 5.1
    Jack Reacher - 7.4
    This is 40 - 8.0
