If you're not a big fan of NYE parties, are you watching a movie at home leading up to midnight?

I'm seriously considering re-watching the original Star Wars for my first time since its original release.

I remember when they used to always show "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World" every NYE. I guess if we are jumping off the fiscal cliff tonight, maybe that's appropriate.

I have a 2.5 year old and a 9 month old. The older one is now refusing to sleep. It's awesome. Also, I'm in your time zone at the moment heyp, so 12 here is really 1 am where i'm used to. So if we get both kids to sleep by 9, the wife will probably catch up on Downton Abbey while I stream the Rockets game.

Then I'll probably just go to sleep.

    I'm a party animal!

The gf and I are going out to eat then coming home to watch The Hunger Games then Breaking Bad and have margaritas and jello shots and jager bombs. That's as wild as I like to get nowadays.

Dude, after last NYs in Germany when my dog freaked out about the fireworks in a little town called Filderstadt and I ended up taking her to my company's office to chill out for the entire night, I'm so down for movies this year.

Not ****. At around 1am, I walked out of the office to take in the seen. There was a fog, but it wasn't a fog...it was gunpowder smoke filling the entire town.

Dredd was surprisingly good... Cloud Atlas, I'm still trying to get through; 1 hour down 2 to go.

I'm probably just going to play NBA 2K13. I've never done anything on New Years Eve. I use to just watch the ball drop but it's pretty depressing watching it on your own and seeing everyone else have fun and celebrating while you're just at home doing nothing.

Watched the movie K-PAX with my wife. Now I am holding my week old baby girl, while my wife gets some rest before the next feeding.
