Tony Parker is probably the closest player I can think of.

At the age of 24, in 31.7 minutes in 40/40 regular season starts, Steve Nash averaged:

    7.9 pts/ 5.5 assists/ 2.9 rebounds / 0.9 steals, shooting 36.3% from the floor.

Lin at 24---30/30 starts 32.5 minutes:
    12pts / 6.3 assists/ 3.3 rebounds /1.8 steals, shooting 43.2% from the floor.

Clearly I'm not saying that he will accelerate to become Nash, but there is something special in his court vision and play-making ability. It's not just the numbers, but HOW he's seeing and making the plays. Anticipation and recognition are just immediately there.

he is like steve nash minus the shooting, hair and handle but unlike nash will rebound and play nice D.
can easily see him getting 15/8.5 on a regular basis.

Let Lin be Lin rather than try to compare him to every star imaginable.

I don't think he's comparable to any single player. Lin is more of a cross between Cynthia Cooper, Sheryl Swoopes, and Tina Thompson.

You feel butt hurt when I compare him with Yao huh??? You don't see the similarities in their games??? Did you see how Lin post up Nate Robinson and score on him in the paint???

    Goran Dragic.

No player is an exact match, but Dragic comes closest in terms of size and skills.
