Royce is trying to get cut. He wants to take the money and run. Period. Any assessment outside of this is wrong. He is doing everything he can to get the team to pay him and release him. Rockets aren't that dumb. They will continue to fine him for every practice/game he misses and collect as much money back as possible. It's a stalemate and both sides are losing but guess who's losing more. . . . that's right. . Royce White. Losing money and worse than that, losing all credibility. This guy may have conned a few libtards out there to buy his story who will probably still believe all the nonsensical crap he has sputtered for the past 3 - 4 months no matter what facts on this matter transpire but people hiring in the league and people around the world have taken notice of this deeply stupid and selfish man and won't be the least bit interested in hiring him for any job.

Looking at his latest comments, he may very well be dangerous and if he continues to make statements the way he did today, the Rockets may need to get the authorities involved to handle it. Referencing murder is no joke especially after the last 2 incidents this country has experienced and he is displaying some very disturbing traits that fall in line with the psychological behavior of serial killers including delusion and god-like superiority complex. He may end up in jail before it is all said and done.

If I was Morey, I would be steaming mad with McHale for pushing so hard to draft him. McHale, THIS ONE'S ON YOU!

the reference to the shooting tragedy is uncalled for, odd, inappropriate, offensive and distasteful and i hope he apologizes because he should. i can see the point he is trying to make, but it is like he is discriminating and prejudiced against himself and others. he makes the point those struggling with anxiety or other forms of mental illness should not be viewed as deranged wackos and crazy, but he's almost implying that he could snap like what happened in connecticut, which is therefore essentially threatening and horrible. knowing this would enter into people's minds, he never should have said anything about it. on top of that, it is very terrible and wrong to use that story to help himself. hopefully he realizes his poor judgment and issues an apology.

He doesn't have the ability to see himself and worse, he doesn't think anything he says or does is wrong. If he did, he would have apologized a dozen times a day.

Sounds about right, to make sure that White walks away with as little as possible.

Well said, but if he is not mentally ill, then I just don't get what he is thinking, he will make a lot more if he doesn't bail out like this, which is not very smart. But if he is ill, then I guess there is no common sense to someone who is mentally ill, hopefully everything ends peacefully. And I hope he received all the right treatment needed.

If he's being honest, he wants the Rockets to let doctors decide basketball decisions instead of coaches. He said,

"My only hope is that decision makers involved realize that doctors are the only logical source to decide action."

If he's being dishonest he wants his 2 years salary so he can go do whatever the hell. I don't think anyone else will touch the guy.

By now he must know that if it doesn't work with the Rockets he will most likely be out of the NBA for good.

To speak precisely about what Royce White is doing, he is using his salary from the Rockets to fund his record label which he likes to talk about and is staying on Twitter 24/7 to market himself. He knows that there is no such thing as bad publicity and if he wants people to take him seriously as a brooding artist then he has to act like one. Everything he has done for the past 3 months is geared toward hyping up his personal business. He knows it is unlikely he ever works (or will even have to work) a 9-5 job somewhere to get by but in order to assure this he has to build up his other business. He has planned to use basketball as his meal ticket all along which is why he played in the Summer Leauge but as soon as he got the contract he disappeared from the team immediately. His work was done. All these shenanigans are a mix of a delusional and selfish young man who has mild mental issues but is trying to con his way out of responsibility while creating a social army around himself to protect him. Only issue is, he is carrying this way too far and if he is not careful, the whole thing could collapse on him. I think his delusions are far more serious though and will end up putting him in the slammer sooner rather than later.

We can speculate all we want about what that is that the Doctors and the Rockets officials disagree on, but the truth is nobody(especially Royce) isn't being #transparent about what exactly that is that they cannot agree on. The fact that Royce will not come out and say what this big sin that the Rockets want to commit against society is, means its something most people without a mental disorder think is a big deal at all. The Rockets are either trying to force him to sh#$ or get off the pot with the D-League assignment, or Royce knew all along that he was going cause a scene about the latest assignment because he felt like it. The truth is always somewhere in the middle.

If 3 doctors really told the Rockets that they should have done something, or not done something that they did then they can listen, but its in their right in this instance to force him to do the most basic thing he signed up to do... play basketball. If this is too much for him, and his doctors to handle then the answer is simple, he should retire, and call it a day.

I dont blame the Rockets for wanting the guy to play basketball in some way shape or form. I mean if Im a salesperson, despite my disabilities at some point in my career, dont I need to actually make a sale?

If they are doing something to him that is so incredibly unethical like dunking his head in a loaded toilet, or making him spill his own blood for an oath to the great Les Alexander then that is one thing, but if its something minor like .... going to the D-League... he's NEVER going to get the public sentiment on his side if he's fully #transparent about the accommodations he and his doctors think he needs to be mentally healthy. Hence why he wont come out and say what it is he's lacking from the Rockets.

So whats the point????.... ITS TIME TO MOVE ON MOREY, LES, and ROYCE

As more time goes by I am inclined to think the same way about this whole situation. I really don't think he will go to another team after he is eventually cut. Mostly cause teams won't want him. Partly because he knows he is not fit to be an NBA player, and partly because he will have made close to 3 million dollars and can due his music and other stuff. If he was serious about playing ball he would look/push for reform by the team as he practiced and played. Instead he tweets/bashes the Rockets for expecting him to act like he somewhat desires to be an nba player.

If the doctors have recommended something for the purposes of White's health and safety that the Rockets refuse to implement then I don't really blame White for not playing. His health and safety should come first. If the Rocks don't want to deal with it then they should release him and void that contract somehow for failure to perform. The drama is getting old but a player shouldn't have to sacrifice his mental health and possibly his life to play basketball.

That is true, he says he will play for the Vipers or Rockets or any team if only the protocol is implemented which so far according to him has not been done. Since the Rockets are keeping quiet, I tend to think either White agreed to something verbally with the staff member or doctor and now withdrawing or it's so far from the truth that the Rockets do not even feel like getting into this since it's going to be a lot of hassle.
