Royce White refuses assignment to D-League (UPDATE: Rockets suspend him)

His twee to are ridiculous and confusing to try and decipher. He should practice what he tweets and be #transparent

I tweeted him to ask what these #protocols are, but am sure will not get an answer.

 

Wait.... White mentions staying on his meds in this interview. On Twitter he has gone on and on about NOT taking medication and needing "protocol" instead. If he was on meds then got off them after getting paid, then he pulled off a hell of a scam.

 

We are getting somewhere and finally folks are all coming to the same conclusion.

Protocol = playing time/NBA 1st string starter

 

No, he should not. And his agent would change his tune when "advising" White if that money quit coming in. Frankly, I'm shocked that the Rockets are paying White anything. He certainly looks in breach of his contract to me. Way past time to quit enabling his absurd, destructive behavior.

 

he has absolutely destroyed the chance of any future prospects coming out and being transparent with any mental illnesses. this isnt about paving the way as much as it is about his ego.

i love ron artest, being a st johns fan growing up.
I'm sure he did work hard, but the Bulls were in full rebuilding mode and Ron Ron was pegged to start regardless.

Would Ron have been ok sitting out every game and going to the-D League ala machado or terrence jones? probably but all i'm saying is if royce white walked into a starting/significant playing off the bench role i'm sure his mental health wouldnt as much of an issue.

 

Artest showed up for training camp. He earned playing time. How was Royce supposed to expect playing time when he would not even show up for training camp????!!!!!!!!!!

 

Just cut him nd get oer this malcontent child.

It's a f**king shame that White pulled the "shooting in Newton" card. He is trying to use it for his own profit, it's sick. And the way I see this is, our society needs accountability for everybody, for example, don't sell guns to mental sicked people because they don't have accountability for deadly weapon. And if you cannot be accountable to practice or team assignment, you shouldn't have a contract in the NBA, period.

The basket on royce whites side should be widened and lowered to 8 feet. Also every player should be bound and tied except for royce. everyone should only be allowed to only play with one hand.
