I don't understand what's not fair in expressing one's favorite player via votation. Please educate me.
Nothing wrong with having a favorite player. If this poll asked who was the best player it would be Harden by country mile.
I appreciate comments like yours here. You expressed the true and mixed feelings and thinking about Jeremy Lin of LFs or even the LOFs. We all know that Lin, just like all the other teammates and even Harden, is a work in progress, but again and again people are comparing him with more established players in the league, and a lot of times criticizing him with double standards. As the proverb "Maturity is knowing that between black and white there is a big area of grey" says, a lot of these black or white labels on Lin are premature, and not really helping us the real Rockets fans. Let us all grow with this young and very promising and exciting team, and enjoy the ups and downs on the way.
There's nothing wrong voting for Lin as your favorite Rocket player. Lord have mercy on your soul. Amen.
Absolutely true. Nothing wrong with liking Jeremy Lin and him being a favorite, people are not afraid to show it by voting for him.
Favorite player on the present team: James Harden and the Euro Step Favorite past Rockets player: Glen Rice
Absolutely well said. I love your perspective and attitude toward Lin and the whole Rockets team. Open up Texans. Don't you love and welcome the fact that people in other states have also become a Rockets fans because of Lin?
we are parties acting in concert. Rox wins, Lin has a good team. Lin wins, Rox has a good player. It should not be like Lin vs another Rox player, it should be Rox vs another team or Lin vs players of other teams and my favorites in descending order: Lin, Harden, Dmo, and the rest. and my heart is big enough to always accomodate a new addition.
It'll be interesting as the days go on if all 53000 have voted and what the results will be. So far Jeremy Lin is pulling away more and more.
I admire your fairness towards your opinions. Although I voted for Lin, I do like Parsons a lot better than Harden. Harden is a great scorer/player and a unselfish guy to play with but I like Parsons more. I don't know who Parsons is before I follow Lin to the Rockets. But his hustles, non-stop motors, all around skills remind me of Landry Fields the first year with the Knicks, but he is much better than Fields. If not for Lin, I definitely will vote for him. So for me, it is Lin, Parson, Harden and the rest of the Rockets.
