86-90 degrees (30 C) today down under, blue sky, great beach, throw some shrimp on the the BBQ and try to get over this pathetic performance....
I ask myself this same question all of the time. Why doesn't he audible? Nope, he just calls up one the breakfast specials from Kubiak's menu. Breakfast item #1: Run up the middle. Breakfast item #2: Run one foot to the left of the middle. Breakfast item #3: On 3rd and 12 try to throw for a 4o-yard touchdown. When Keenum played in the pre-season, I was so excited to see a Texan QB checking down at the line and changing a play based on the opposing defense formation.
I failed math dude, calm down. I can only count to nine. I thought they hadn't updated the standings when I was on NFL.com
I disagree about the vikings. that game would have solidified our raking and showed the country we weren't struggling; we NEEDED that game. I agree with the Ravens game. Texans 2-4 in statement games.
OD: Tough to deal with considering what was on the table. Home game next week, take a hard look tomorrow and find a way to get things going. We found it in spurts today but need to do it all the way around. We're trying to figure it out. If we knew what was wrong, it'd be fixed. Last month hasn't been good. Only takes a Q or half to get back on track. We'll get after it this week. We gotta get it right. We have no choice. This one hurts a lot more. Gotta find a way to get past it. A month more of football there for the taking. Swagger a good word to use, we haven't had it. A little bit isn't going to cut it.
Ready for inevitable #3 seed and narrow victory in 1st round and narrow loss in rd 2... What could have been. After the season knowing the Texans they will stand pat and the core will age into mediocre obscurity. The Oilers at least had big leads before choking. A team that last year was the worst in the NFL, starting a huge number of rookies and having no OL was more disciplined, executed better, made fewer mistakes and more big plays than the supposed #1 seed. Just disgusting...
The ONLY good thing to come out of this loss is that they'll spend the rest of the week hearing from everyone - especially the national media - telling them how much they suck. If that doesn't make them man up, God help us. Assuming we make it that far, I'm pretty much expecting us to get ours handed to us in New England thanks to Tom Terrific in Week 2 of the playoffs. Would love to be wrong...
I saw several ugly ones in Perth and have met a few from Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane while traveling. I will say this though whether they are physically hot or not most the Aussies I have met have been pretty cool.
