i make my arguments. i'm not stubborn. i can't defend Schaub's play right now. and i don't disappear when he's sucking it up.

The other label that needs to quietly go away is "He's a top 10 QB!" - by almost all measures, he's outside the top ten, and drifting closer to ~#13.

It's a weird label, but he's more like a HOF game manager.

I still like him well enough, warts and all, because of his pocket IQ, but it's clear he is dependent on the guys around him to make things happen.

This is exactly what he is. And for last year's Texans and the early season Texans this year, he was the perfect QB for this team. But something went wrong with the defense and running game, so it doesn't work as well any more.

There are two types of QBs in the NFL: playmakers and game managers.

Your elite QBs are the playmakers that don't make many mistakes (Manning, Brady, etc).

Then you have playmakers that do their share of stupid too (Stafford, Romo, Vick, Vince Young, etc) - they are up and down and can look great or horrible. Team with this kind of QB have lots of hope, because they have the potential to grow into the elite. These teams also are prone to total meltdowns because the teams tend to be so dependent on the QB.

Then you the great game manager types (Schaub, Alex Smith, etc) that can't put a team on their shoulders, but are perfect when you have the right pieces. These guys will never be "elite", but they can win.

Then you have the crappy game-managers which just need to not be part of the league (Gabbert, whoever Arizona's QB is, etc)

embarrassed that this pretend team even came to play. I was so mad, i broke my remote after that TY Hilton TD. I almost broke it earlier on the Special Teams TD.

The Texans have had an amazing start for the year, but this is disgusting. Im sickened for how this season has turned. Instead of being able to rest our starters today and next week, we will be playing next week and most likely on Saturday. And most likely get bounced by Cincy or Baltimore.

He only throws to Dre now, he locks on to Dre, and the Colts even started jumping routes. He needs to use Foster and OD more...
