I can see both sides.... On one hand a leader is a leader.. but on the other hand in the NBA it means more coming from elite players.. It is a lot easier to take criticism from Kobe than from Reddick..
Having said that, Lin is the starting point guard and Cole is buried on the bench. Pretty sure Cole just takes it. Besides, it isn't as if Lin does it to everyone. The good thing is that Lin cares and wants to win.

    1. Agree - we need to play better D.
    2. Disagree - Lin took those shots because he was wide open. Lin is fully aware of his shooting woes and only attempts 3's when he's wide open.
    3. Neutral - I didn't pay too much attention to Asik so can't comment there.
    4. Agree.

What makes us different from the Spurs is that their core have been playing together for almost a decade.

Yup that's how I see it. Lin hasn't been playing that well till recently. He admitted to having a terrible season up to till the Knicks game.

Lakers game-Go to 2:03, Lin is calling out to Cole prior to the play instructing him.

Crappy stream also showed coach pixel screaming at Greg pixel when he got pulled out. I think it was after the brown pixel missed and got rebounded by an OKC pixel b/c no Rockets pixels were boxing out.

    100% agree with you.

It is so frustrating when every Rockets fan can see something so obviously wrong but the coach can't. We have to assume McHale knows something we don't, yet we have no way of asking him.

Inexcusable loss. Losing is fine, getting blown out is not.

    I LOL'ed :p

But yeah, I saw that too, this is the second straight game that Lin snaps at Cole. At first I was like 'Lin stop bullying him! :(" ...and then Cole played some more and I wished I was there to heckle him myself
In all seriousness though, I understand he sucks but Jeremy needs to stop picking on him. I don't like that.

Anyway, let's be real. None of us really thought we were winning this one :p
I understand Coach McHale can't baby them by making excuses but we know damn well they were extremely fatigued from such a physical game last night. This was on a back2back against contenders! The pace the Rockets run drains them that much more. They still fought today and stuck around for the first quarter and a half and then looked looked like zombies, turning it over, Lin back with his airballs, James back to having an off shooting night too, just ugly.
Oh well, on the next one.

He was just calling him out to help set a screen in 1/2 court. There's nothing wrong with that.

I can see both sides too... but it's not like Lin is barking orders at Harden. Lin is the starting PG & floor general whereas Cole is a bench-warmer who rarely sees minutes till recently. Besides, while Lin continues to struggle with his shooting (seriously, what's up with that?), his playmaking has been consistently good. I don't think it's too out of line for him to bark orders at Cole. But then again, I wasn't the one being yelled at... :p

And somebody has to notice, he's still earning everything by his efforts on court, it's his bad not hitting open jumpers but he always gave the best effort out there cause he's playing for the god and nothing else.

He's been taken away his strength during the 1st 20 games, it's not even a secret at all. In case you haven't noticed, he always pushed himself that much, he would even ask himself why the coach didn't even try letting him do PG's job. He would rather blame himself than the coach.

Thats why I understand why he yelled at Stoudamire during Mil. game, cause he saw you are 100% committed and he thought he can make a difference by yelling. He yelled the 2nd time in 96 matches. I think there's a triggering point esp. he knew he's pretty friendly with Aldrich off the court.

Apologize my ass, I sure hope he yelled at Cole Aldrich! That was the worst performance by any Rockets player this season. It was awful.

    LOL
I also think that's the reason, because Cole should not be getting minutes unless both Asik and Greg foul out. None.

It depends on what the criticism is about. If it's about a certain play affecting the two of them, of course Lin has to get the message through. If he's telling Cole to put his big boy pants on, then it's uncalled for.

Lin has been extremely patient with Asik and his buttery hands (that even Harden was going like WTF) so I wonder what this thing about Cole is about. Hopefully as professionals there's no love lost between them. The first day Cole arrived in Houston, Lin and Chandler took him out to dinner (Harden of course had dinner with management).

Lin said in an interview that when his parents used to watch him play, they didn't talk about how many points he scored and things like that, but rather they called him out if he yelled at referees or teammates. Someone should phone his mom  Just joking.

For the time being, I'll give Lin the benefit of the doubt.

Hahaha... that's too funny. Thanks for the explanation. My hands are shaking as I type as I'm laughing so hard...
