I would hope he could afford a bed with the 3 mil he's making this year. Cole does one thing going for him though... He's got NBA center size. Teams are going to bring him in as a center insurance policy on one year contracts for the next few years.

Right now he has a decent sized expiring contract that mind lend him useful in trade. Even though he's worthless to this team given what they are and the depth they have, he's going to continue to be a tradeable player this year and in the future.

Lin only fans think they can prop up Lin by bashing the backup.

The previous night, Harden was -11 on the court and TD was +5.

So much for +/- being a relevant stat.

It wasn't TD who made Lin suck against OKC with 7 points and 4 turnovers.

Yes I was there watching Lin get yelled at by coach and him gesturing to coach about Cole messing up and then getting pissed at Cole for a few more possessions after. I guess as the starting PG it's sort of his job, but not sure Cole deserves all the blame for tonight's performance. He shouldn't have been on the court to begin with.

This was the first game I attended that the Rockets lost... and they lost in grand fashion too. I sat in an area (section 124) that actually had quite a few Thunder fans and they had their way tonight.

With that being said, from where I was sitting, it looked like the 4 games in 5 nights wall reared it's ugly head tonight. Everything they did was one or two steps too slow. Every pass they made was a split second too late. Their help defense was one step behind.

It was just one of those games you have to take on the chin and move on.

Hmmm this random guy notice the same thing during the spurs game.

@JLin7 hey Lin, I am one of your biggest fans, but I think you should ==> apologize to Cole Aldrich for yelling at him <== on the game

I hope you are right that Cole will be traded. Because I remember McHale saying that he liked Cole when he was injured & Smith was being productive so I don't know. Some coaches just have there favourites. I don't want to see Cole & Cook out there.

I don't like Terrence Jones much, nor any of the Rockets' power forwards, but Terrence should be playing. Not Cole.

    Aldrich tonight:
    0 points
    0 rebounds
    0 assists
    4 turnovers
    3 fouls

Near sold out crowd but you could hear a pin drop throughout the last half of the game. Just bad energy in the building if that makes sense. The teams energy was contagious even to fans I guess. I was close enough to hear a lot of what the players were saying on the court. Usually it's too loud to hear much of that.

Still a great time regardless. I live in Dallas and have partial season tickets just mainly to see other teams play(refuse to even wear blue to games) and I still prefer even the worst Rockets games to the best Mavs games and a lot of the games I see when I'm on the road for work. Anyone that complains about the TC experience has never been to a Hawks game.

Yeah he was ripping into guys tonight, but like I said he is the pg, and supposed to be a leader. Still I don't think yelling at Cole or anyone else was going to make a difference in how he played. McHale was ripping into guys enough for everyone. I could hear some colorful language coming from the other side of the court even.

Nothing you wouldn't hear at the rec center pickup game. Perkins was interesting though. Found new respect for him. He really quarterbacks their defense at least vocally. I see now why he's so important to what they do defensively.

Cole doesn't seem like a confident guy on the court I think yelling would just make him worst. He's probably the type that needs a ton of positive encouragement. Besides I don't think Lin has been consistent enough and played well enough to start ripping into teammates.

Neither is omitting a players assist total when you point out how badly a pg did. ;)

I understand the hatred of extreme LOF's but if you don't play fair then you end up being just as bad as them.

The Rockets have a defensive coach, one that has been very successful in the past. When you have the youngest team in the league and half your team is new, you will have issues on the defensive end. Couple that with the pace the Rockets play at and your defense will give up big numbers.

Oh my. Considering how much love he gets on here, this is not looking good for our future starting PG.

Really? I mean really? The starting PG can't yell stuff at his teammates? I suppose if Cole was a 13 year old kid...um no. This is the NBA.

And this Lin hasn't put up good enough stats BS is old. If TD wanted to yell at Cole, I wouldn't care.

Mind you, I'm not saying Cole played badly, I'm just saying any player on the team can vocally express whatever they want to each other, regardless of stats.

Jeez, it's like you don't avg an unrealistic 20 and 8 so therefore you don't have the right come down on your teammate when you feel the need to. That's your thought process?
