We are planned to play Warriors, Thunders, Minny and Kings 3 times this year. So... only 1 more chance actually. ;)

Man kind of figured this would happen, only hope was if we made it rain from the three's. Oh well future is still bright, harden and co will just have to take it out on the hawks on monday =)

and lol @ the guy that thinks playing a few hours of pickup is the same as playing ball at any organized level.

offense if not our problem, we really need to solve our defense. 2nd worst defense in the league is not going to win anything.

Yeah, I miss 2007-2008 lineups. Each players we had on that year's roster was a good player. 22 winning streak is amazing and I want that again.

Unfortunately I think a team's coaching staff has a big influence on team identity and defense. Without a defensive coach or asst. like Thibs or Collins, the Rockets will defend at a high level. After the Chicago and Memphis games I had high hopes that the Rockets might've discovered something here - being able to play at a fast pace and have solid halfcourt D - but in retrospect our defense probably looked solid because of the competition :)

I'm only annoyed at McHale for playing Cole Aldrich. The lead ballooned after he came in before the second half ended. Then again, everyone played bad except Morris and he didn't show up yesterday so it's understandable why he had so much energy tonight.

I don't know why Cole is out there on the court at all. People are saying that it is to up his trade value but I don't think that is it. I genuinely believe McHale likes Cole (McHale actually said as much) & this frightens me. Greg earned those back up minutes & Harden & Lin have better chemistry with Asik & Greg. The starters have absolutely no chemistry with Aldrich & Cole is just plain bad. It is frustrating to me seeing someone like Greg who has legitimately hustled hard for us much this season not get the playing time he deserves.

Also McHale's love affair with Tony needs to end. The Rockets thrive on executing in the fast break & Tony consistently botches them amongst other really dumb things he does. McHale's substitution patterns are really odd as well, even when we were winning I found his in game management to be baffling. Like for example, in the first quarter Lin, Asik & Morris were rolling but McHale takes Lin & Asik out like he always does with 2 minutes left? Why if they are feeling it continue to ride the hot hand.

He must be ok since he was sitting on the bench after that elbow. That guy is always getting hit or elbowed in the head since the Knicks game. I wonder if the medical staff is monitoring him?

I never saw any screens set for Lin , at least he didn't use that many. Lin only drove to the basket a few times...used only for 20 minutes in the game. He needed to be alittle more aggressive when he was running the floor.

Yeah, Aldrich had one of those old Jordan Hill performances, where his presence gave me a sense of dread over impending doom. :). On the other hand, the rest of the team sucked, too, after the score was 52-50. So, it is not just on Aldrich. Greg Smith is unlikely to have made a 30 point difference.

Anyhow, the team is just flat tonight in 4th game in 5 nights. Need to get some rest, practice, and get ready for ATL. Such is life in an 82 game season.

Also, it would be good to get Delfino back. The team can't effectively small ball without Delfino and small ball is their best weapon.

Seriously F Stern and these terrible schedules. Spurs and Thunder on back to backs? Pathetic. It's bad for the players and more importantly bad for the fans. It's a $hitty product period.
