Anyone who honestly thought Mack or Diaz were coaching for their jobs is using logic and reason instead of looking at what drives our athletic department: $$. As long as we bring in the money and have an ancient athletic director who has no interest in conducting a coaching search, Mack will stay. Dare I say, he will be our coach until either he or Deloss step down. Oh and Diaz would be FIU's head coach if there was even a 1% chance he would be coaching for his job at the Alamo Bowl. When he dropped out of that race I knew he would be back next year no matter what. While that news sucks in the long term, it definitely made tonight more enjoyable.
