Von Miller over JJ is a joke, but I'm not upset about it that writer is one of the few who think that. Most can see how dominating Watt has been.
Just frusturating to see a writer at the most popular sports network in the world writing that crap. Sure Watt will win DPOY no problem, but ESPN does help shape the minds of some sports fans. It also goes to show how ESPN employs a large number of hacks.
The only logical reasoning behind that is she maybe hasn't seen a Texans game this season and simply doesn't believe the stories on how dominating Watt has been. I can't imagine any other possible line of thinking that would choose Von Miller over Watt.
yea there certainly hasn't been a standout running back this year huh. I mean with a game left it is only slightly possible we will see the all-time rushing record broken
Even without getting the sack record, he deserves it. Watching our defense today, there is no question who the best player is. I am surprised at how no one else stepped up the entire season. Our D is going to have to win in the playoffs, because our offense is missing.
JJ Watt named AFC defensive player of the month for December. His 2nd player of the month award this year.
http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play?id=8808983 A little insight by JJ on where the team is now, preparing for the bengals, etc.
I accept that he won't win MVP this year, he would have to be off the charts(which he was) and the team would have to get the best record in the league.() Dpoy is pretty much a lock though, and maybe he can join that elite group of 2x(or more) winners of the DPOY award. It's only his second year so he'll have plenty more cracks at it.
