Fair enough. I can only speak for myself (somebody else brought up screens) but I wasn't talking about screen setting in this game, buy just in general. I am pretty sure I made it clear that defense (lack thereof) was the biggest issue. I also did agree that Patts presence on the defensive end would have been felt in todays game.

Even when the Rockets win lack of screen setting (not just for one player but just in general) has been a constant thing all season.

if shots are falling then Harden didn't have to ISO. against the wolves there's no question shots weren't fallin so Harden had to ISO in the 4th quarter which was the ONLY way we can win.

against the spurs, shots weren't falling again and everyone was turning the ball over. harden was the only one getting to the line in the 4th. problem was SA were executing while the ROX weren't stopping them.

When shots aren't falling. You get a timeout regroup and just keep attacking. You don't throw away your game plan in the 3rd quarter. You iso for last possessions and not on jumpers starting in the 3rd quarter.

Tim duncan is really the difference in this game, blocked and affected at least 5 open shots...... turned them into fastbreak points for the spurs.....

also Timmy made a lot of tough shots on Asik....

I am laughing my ass off at how my statement got turned into a request for Stoudemire. I was just saying we need a real 4 who can balance this team out in the paint. Everyone talking about trading for Stoudemire is out of their minds. That is an Anti-Morey move. Who we need is a prime time Chris Webber on this team. Can we roll his career back 10 years and drop him on our roster?

SMH :) at the close-mindedness. There's a thread running talking about how Rockets are a superstar PF from being an elite team. And this thread is complaining about Morris. This has NOTHING to do with NYC. Even now, STAT is better than either Morris or Paterson. And he's available. Reports were that the Knicks were shopping him to anyone who was interested.

For those who think he's washed up, he's not. Melo was looking pretty bad last year as well when he didn't fit in the D'Antoni system. Now he's a MVP candidate. Same thing with STAT. Rockets are showing that they play best playing run/gun offense.

I would agree to give STAT a chance if his contract was not such a big albatross. What other PF options are available though by the trade deadline or even in the off season?

This is a fun game to watch even though we lost. Both teams are pretty much shooting the lights out. Spurs were lucky to shoot well or else it's going to be a blow out lol...vice versus. Harden were in foul trouble and that kind of hurt us along w/ Osik. I think we need a PF that do excellent pick n roll and can catch and finish at the rim....someone like Cousins will be perfect but he's not going anywhere.

Cousins looked great in that stretch getting the steal on the alley oop (what was Kidd thinking?), finding the open man, getting the rebound and tipping it to the open man again.

He can be great on the Rockets in the right environment. Sacramento doesn't know what they are doing.
