Aldrich wasn't perfect, but who was? Asik? no. Smith? no.

The Rockets had 24 turnovers and missed 11 free throws, that's what really stands out for me. Lin, Harden, and Parsons all had 5 turnovers each, ouch. Aldrich did more good things than bad things tonight.

Not as automatic a loss as it is when we play the spurs!

But, I guess the X Factor is Harden wanting to get back at his team and the fact it is played in Houston counts for something. I hate that we have to play OKC on a back-to-back against a "automatic loss" Spurs team.

The schedulers should set it up so that whenever there is a back-to-back game, BOTH Teams had a game the previous night. Only seems fair!

    You be cray.

But seriously, I kind of agree. Depending whether we had good Delfino or bad Delfino. Bad Delfino shows up every 3 games or so and shoots 4-15 with 5 turnovers, while trying to play point guard.

Delfino with his 10.0 PER in the bottom 25 in the NBA? That Delfino?

Delfino is the xfactor for the Rockets..seem like Rockets loses when he's out. Rockets probably misses his defense.

The group has so much potential, play with so much heart. Even though is a lost, I love my young Rox.

Too much hero one-on-one ball. Yes the refs were an appalling disgrace to honest and fair officiating, but that wasn't the only problem. Why not run Harden off of some screens like Richard Hamilton has set for him to free him up for an easy shot? Why not try everything in your power to try to make the game easier for our players to score, via motion, screens and picks? The Spurs offense is layered with many screens and picks to facilitate scoring. Why can't we do this? This is baffling and frustrating.

Proud of how the team fought back tonight. However, coaching staff needs to get the team in the right frame of mind to start the game. The opening 5 minutes were really, really bad.

Houston most certainly will win at home tomorrow against OKC, we just aren't that good on the road unless we play Eastern conference teams...

Rockets made a good comeback by the second half, then the 4th quarter happened - Spurs were playing some good D, but damn, Rockets couldn't make a basket. I hope they learn something from this game, what I'm not entirely sure. Coaches too, a little Greg Smith in the 4th when we went cold could have made a difference.

Damn this game messed up my night. Oh well.

Great game by our baby rockets, spurs were super efficient.
    Quick comparison of shooting %s - Spurs 57% FG, 50% 3P, 92% FT
    - Rox 52% FG, 34% 3P, 58% FT

FT% is a big stat as spurs made 22-24 and rox made 15-26.

Room for improvement: The team still needs to work on their communication on defence and defence in general.

Defining Factor: Refereeing, Harden getting in foul trouble was a major factor for our 4th quarter downfall.

Nit-pick: Aldrich and TD should not have been in that long, Aldrich's screens were rubbish and he was getting eaten alive out there and despite TDs pretty good stat line, he wasn't hitting his open shots and was a liability running the point.

Next game: I think we should brace ourselves for a stinker, our guys were absolutely done by the end of this game. These guys will be very tired, and our fast pace won't be as effective against a young team like OKC.

Conclusion: Great, fun game to watch; spoiled by the refs. However, great signs for the future of the rockets; if we play like this consistently, we will win the lion's share of our games, for sure.

Still mystified by the presence of Aldrich, unless McHale is resting Asik a bit for tomorrow.

I hate saying that people do the little things, but Delfino really does the little things being the 30 year old vet that nobody else on the team does. His rotations are good, and he gets through screens well. Also, he can hold his own on PF's because he is really thick. It's just those little things people take for granted that vets do.

McHale needs to utilize screens a lot more. There are times where Lin has to literally outrun his man in the half court like he is Usain Bolt or something really ****ing frustrating.
