Just did a Google search to see if there were any comments about this game. Funny how this guy called it.

He got 4 in the 4th with less than a minute to go... Harden got a foul on something that is NEVER called in the NBA. His normal rest time is after the 3rd quarter for 3-4 minutes. Is this really up for debate?

yep, Harden played zero D against Green early on.
Asik got into foul trouble early and didn't show up and the D went completely south. We still made it close though

Turnovers and the refs helped, but Spurs's hot streak 2nite was what really killed us. Parker with 31, Duncan with 30, Ginobili with 23, the Spurs shooting 56% and 50% behind the arc. They won it offensively.

Before this game, Hollinger's had Houston at #1 on the PACE rank, and Spurs at #3. But on Defensive Efficiency, Spurs is #6 whereas Rockets are #16. Duncan & Parker are still the masters at those picks. At the #4 position, Duncan is so deadly because he can play inside, or nail the jumper when Parker passes pack to him after a pick. At the sixth man spot, we don't have anyone like a Ginobli yet.

Asik, Harden, and Lin were called for 12 fouls.

Finally, fans got to see the REAL Marcus Morris. 6'7" (actual height) with short arms, no rebounding, no defense!

    MM stinks!

    2-9 from the field

    2 rebounds

    0 steals

    0 blocks

He is NOT a starting power forward in this league.

Get him OFF this team now!

We get killed on screens every game and also refuse to set any for our guards.

Indeed. If there is any lesson the young Rockets can learn from this game, it's that you need defense to win games.

McHale badly overexposed Aldrich today; he came in and had a very productive 10 minutes; he had enough strength that they didn't have to double Duncan in the post when Asik went to the bench with foul trouble.

In the 4th, Aldrich became a huge liability because he allowed the Spurs to double with impunity, and since he's not used to playing with the starters, was frequently in the wrong spot, or not rolling at the right time. I don't blame him for it at all, I think he had a hell of a game and has proven his worth as the emergency center.

+/- is a rather flawed stat, but tonight it tells the tale pretty easily:

Aldrich: 6:04 played in the 4th against Splitter, -9.

Asik: 5:56 played in the 4th against Duncan, +9.

We loss because of our front court. Glaring PF deficiency.

Everyone thinks Parker just kills opposing PGs when in fact it's Timmy's terrific screens that free Parker up.

When Parker went 1 on 1 with Lin it didn't work out so well.

It's no wonder Chris Paul said screens make all the difference for a PG. Rockets need to take some notes.

You all should be proud at what The Rockets have accomplished in these stretch of games. We kept at it with The Spurms.

The refs ****ed us over, but Popabitch is just sooooooo much better than McHale. McHale leaving the starters in... smh when we got a game tommorrow is insane.
