He is just a global phenomenon. My old friend is working for La Gazzetta dello Sport in Manhattan. He helped Lin to be popular even in Italy.

Don't know about you, but I'd be charging less than half price for Kings games to get people to turn up. They suck.

Why is the Rockets home attendance so low?? They need to be full house to guaranteed wins...that's how the Kings did it back then....they were so loud that opponents came in scare of playing and ended up peeing in their pants lol.

I always have the sneaky suspicion that the upper bowls and the higher lower bowls are full of people...just that the seats near the court are too expensive, and so less people are there. But that's what the cameras catch most of the time, giving us an illusion of emptiness.

    Can anyone confirm that?
The high attendance records don't make sense if that's not the case!

The grizzlies game i attended was full of people. I'm pretty sure it was a sellout. And I prefer the upperbowl now, with that huge ass screen its a real good value. And as someone who likes to attend lots of games paying 15 bucks for a seat and still getting a good view is awesome.

What really helps the #'s is that the Rockets don't have to go on the road to face the Rockets.

This achievement doesn't help the Rockets whatsoever... Just more fans to boo at us.

A group of us are driving 7 hours to watch Lin and the Rockets play in Portland. :)

Seattle is building their stadium soon so in the future, we only have to drive 3 hours.

Longlam is a Rockets trainer and Asian. If you go to Lin's twitter, there is a picture of them.

I was at the Rox@Twolves game in Minny. The place was packed with fine azz asian chics. Even whities with Lin jerseys. Too bad for Jlin, his Christianity is causing him to turn down all dat azz. smh

That and I used to live in Portland ;)

I've visited Vancouver a few times as well. Downtown was something because I remember walking down one street in downotnw and almost every other store was an adult store! lol

But my fondest memory though was being able to walk around General Motors Place and trying to name every Grizzlies player that I could think of:

    Bryant Reeves
    Shareef Abdur-Rahim
    Mike Bibby
    Antonio Daniels
    Stromile Swift
    Lorenzen Wright
