But how does that solve the luxury tax problem for the Thunder? Rondo is making $36 million over the next three seasons. I think the Thunder believe they can get Martin to re-sign for less. They also received good picks and a young prospect in Jeremy Lamb in case Martin does not re-sign. I honestly think it's the smarter move, but they don't save much money doing Westbrook for Rondo straight up and who knows if Rondo was even on the table.
Whenever I see a physically gifted PG with limited court vision and poor decision making ability, I think of Steve Francis. Westbrook is a much better midrange shooter and less athletic than Francis. But his court vision and decision making are as bad.
I wonder of OKC needs to get themselves a Moochie Norris. Keep on thinking that Kyle Lowry would be great for them.
if westbrick was a fictional gangster he would be gyp rosetti. Westbrick takes everything so personal. If gogi scores on him, he feels insulted and has to fake toughness. Once a player gets in his head, he will brick away to prove his match up wrong. I thought he had gotten over that. "everyone is a person. how else are they suppose to take it?"
man watching the thunder/mavs game......i'd hate to have this guy on the Rockets. I'm not a Thunder fan and I'm angry for them. Guy's raw talent....but a complete idiot and liability on the court. I'm so glad OKC trade the better guard to us.
Wow...Collison...incredible... I hope this game goes to 6 OTs and OKC will be more tired than the Rockets on Saturday Westbrick is Westbrick. 4 of 17. Ouch!
OKC needs a better coach, Brooks is pretty damn lousy, their offense is "ride Durant and Westbrook", there's no real structure to it, their defense breaks down all the time. He can't seem to manage Westbrook at all either. Their success comes from being the most talented team in the league basically.
Westbrook is annoying. Dragic wasn't even playing him dirty that game (I assume you're talking about that last minute comeback against OKC last season), but Westbrook acted like Dragic commited a dirty fragrant foul and tried to pick a fight. This is a game where OKC really misses Harden. So glad we got him.
