    Patterson
    ...For...
    Evan Fournier

Denver could use a power forward like Patterson his lack of rebounds would be covered up by the other frount court players. Coach Karl may turn Patterson into the BEAST we saw flashes of as a rookie.

Houston needs a young 2/3 player like Defino/Lee to grow --> Fournier has promise but is burried on their bench with no playing time any time soon. Will be a soild role player for years to come.

    THEN
    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=bquoqom

    Delfino and Dougles
    ...For...
    Raja Bell and Alec Burks

Utah gets help at the point and 2/3 --> BOTH are rotation players, 3 point threats and in the last year of their contracts (team option on Delfino). Bell is fighting over money and Burks is in the doghouse in the Jazz camp.

Houston may get "star" (OKC Harden role) or not. Bell COULD take on Delfino's role for the rest of the year then walk at season's end (if he plays at all). I think there is an option on Burks rookie contract this year, too if things don't work out.

We signed a rookie point earlyer this week, too.

Over all younger, more balanced TEAM going forward. Taking a chance at something special (good players in bad situations) but not giving up to much to do so.

    Houston-Love.Belinelli
    Minn-Boozer,Parsons,Jones, 5mill excep,Chicago first(top 15 protected)
    Chi- PATPAT,Donuts,Cook, Ridnour,

Chicago gets rid of boozers poison deal, allows them cap flexibility during off season(somewhat ).
Minny gets Boozer who was best under a system coach like Sloan and Adelman, but get their SF of the future cause Lienko and Bud are not the answer, clears their logjam at PG and gets a pick from Chi or even us in the future.

How would a Lin to LA even happen? Everyone else on Houston's roster is so highly underpaid in comparison to Gasol.

Something is missing in that trade. It talks about Fields, but he's not in the deal. Are you sure you posted it right?

Patterson and Machado for Rip Hamilton, Radmanovic and the rights to Mikola Mirotic (http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=bo2fhyt).

Bulls get under the tax, get a cheap big in Patterson.

Rockets clear some of the PF logjam, get the better player/talent, who would be a great stretch 4 to pair Harden (and Lin) with. Rockets would probably have to wait until 2014 for him to come over, however Mirotic coming over might incline his current teammate Sergio Llull to join him.

It doesn't get them under tax, though.

Bulls are $3.24M over the tax. Patterson and Machado make $3.28M less than Hamilton and Radmanoivc, so unless I'm missing something, yes, it does get them under the tax.

You are right. I was looking at a site with shaky numbers.

This is not a permanent solution but a tryout/rental for this season. Andray Blatche PF/C NET has been playing very well and keeping him self out of trouble. He is young is a match up nightmare. Could be a starter now for the Rockets and a strong bench player in the future if Houston signs a ALL Star PF in the off season.

Sounds good. Basically any "get an asset for eating Rip's salary" trade works for me. The issue is that CHI can make similar deals with PHX and CLE, so they can choose among the 3 teams for the one that demands the least.

Appreciate it. I've heard rumors that the Thunder want Varejao. I feel like the Cavaliers should get more in return?
