The ambiguity of it all makes it unisex. I doubt your remedial education prepared you for the revolutionary mind**** this ad put out in 30 seconds. Everything is changing, yet everything stays the same. Day becomes night, and night becomes day. The wind erodes old mountains and sculpts new ones. Fragrance isn't a smell ... it's a feeling. It's an emotion - that cannot be measured. Nothing without meaning can be defined. There was a time when hot shorts were for men only, a decade ago they became exclusively for women, yet now we're witnessing a trend where women are opting for more airy, bohemian ankle length bottoms and men are pulling their shorts higher, and higher, and higher. 5" above the knee is now standard. It's inevitable.
Does anybody know where I can buy a rare Jerusalem Tulip bulb? I'm looking for a gift for my girlfriends father, who is in the rare flower business.
I really don't understand why I still bother opening your threads. I'm always "read, read, read".... Then, UmmmKay...

The commercial is genius. It's like when GQ started putting women on their cover. It's suggesting that if you wear Chanel, guys like Brad Pitt will notice you. Every housewive's fantasy.
While I thought the ad was a bit over the top in it's attempt to evoke reaction (or action....depending on how you see it), I did like the concept. It's definitely better than that stupid "I'm not going to be person I'm expected to be" commercial where that douche is sitting at a press conference.
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes. Actual competence may weaken self-confidence, as competent individuals may falsely assume that others have an equivalent understanding. David Dunning and Justin Kruger conclude, "the miscalibration of the incompetent stems from an error about the self, whereas the miscalibration of the highly competent stems from an error about others" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning–Kruger_effect
Brad Pit made a stack of cash with a rambling parody of other perfume commercials. Parodies of parody ensue. **** goes viral. Ronny thinks he's a pimp and buys perfume. Chanel makes money Gangnam style.
Unrequited sexual attraction. The raw sexual magnetism permeating from me is undeniable .. and you're drawn to it. I am to the neckbearded pheasants of the Hangout what this ad is to it's target demo. Ambiguous, lacking in logic, unrelateable ... but sexy. People are drawn to this because they want to give themselves some value but are too dull & unimaginative to do it without leeching from the right environment. The mind is a scrapbook and marketing creates the materials. When women put on a perfume - they're looking for a mystique and aura to give themselves. It's not solely about masking their natural smell. They want to overload your senses and make you remember them - the whole point of primping. This is where they can abandon the ugly world of logic (knowing there are much prettier, successful girls out there etc. as they inherently compare themselves to others) and get in the mood with mental images of guys like Ronny replacing whatever derivative of man is in front of them... and be lost in the beautiful fantasy that keeps them smiling, day in and day out. When it comes to emotion, faith over fact, 10 times out of 10. This effortless allure gets you everytime. It's inevitable.
