This team needs a player more like Lemarcus or KLove. DCousins has a nice post game, but that isnt what the Rockets are really looking for
Good point, the guy should stop dribbling so much and crossing himself over. He almost cost us the game and would have had McHale let him play on.
I'm not a fan of his playmaking skills but do have to give him credit for bringing energy every time he's on the court.
He's played well for us this year and should get minutes, but he played way too much tonight. He's most effective as a spot up three point shooter and playing off guard versus being a point guard/playmaker. Tonight there were moments where it was dribble mania with him out there. I think if he could just limit those lapses he'd be a lot more effective for us.
He played solid defense tonight and brought great energy. He isn't a natural PG though, so every time he is out there Harden or Lin should be there to play the PG/facilitator role. Douglas should never be out there in the backcourt as PG, never ever ever.....

i think TD plays a crucial defensive role. he is usually tagged to play d on the opposing teams' most dangerous guard. this frees up harden and lin to concentrate on their offense. today was difficult because the height difference didn't allow him to guard sved who was the scoring threat. the hand waving may not be more effective but his pesky fervor and staying real close on his man has got to make them uncomfortable! also TD getting fouls have no consequence. imagine lin or harden having to pick up fouls.
4 assists to 1 for Lin. Jeremy Lin at his best is better than Douglas. Jeremy Lin not at his best, but still in a fast paced transition style, is also better than Douglas. But tonight's version of Lin in this grinded out style was not playing well. Douglas sucks as a point guard, but this team truly lacks options.
If douglas could get 4 assists coming off the bench, on a game to game basis, then I would like him handling the ball. Tonight Chandler was the best point guard.
i saw at least 3 assists by lin tonight.....i also saw at least 3 blocks from asik and he was only credited with 1, too...
TD is an adequate backup. In tonight's game, he played well enough to keep the Rockets in the game till the 4th quarter.
Douglas is a SG, not expecting he pass much. He is getting his minutes because Harden and Lin needs the rest. I don't think Harden can play 40 minutes a night, every night.
