and that right there is why harden is what martin is not. Great game. More telling of this team than those blowout wins. Struggled but still pulled it out like good teams do.

The Reason Delfino was out there was as a double team buster, and he has the green light on his jumpers. He is our best 3 point shooter.

Melo is a good player but he is not that good.

Harden is arguably on par with him in terms of impact on the court. I think you meant Lebron or Durant type of player, but Melo has no business in that conversation in my opinion

let's not overreact, panic or think the sky is falling because we didn't win by 15.

2nd night of a b2b, travel to minny from chicago, poor offensive display and we came back from double-digits to win with our star man rescuing us.

a great road win against a team which has a lot of great pieces.

I think it showed maturity from such a young team that we fought this one out.
    happy with the W

Nail biter! I kept yelling at the TV "Quit toying with them and freakin' finish this game already!" Thank God they pulled through. I thought we might let this one slip away. If Harden and Lin had attacked more to draw the foul instead of actually trying to make the layup earlier in the game, we would have won by 10. They need to really work with Lin on being more aggressive and pick a couple minutes at a time for it to be the Lin show. Just clear it out and let him attack. It will build his confidence and allow him to actually do what he does best.

Yes, we have to give credit to the coach this time, at least they trust lin this time.

Durant is the proper name in this situation.

exactly, like daryl the gm said, there is more to a point guard other than scoring. Douglas played great d too. he just attempted way too many shots.

also Delfino did play a big role in getting us back into the game with 5 consecutive points ( i think) and even though his shooting was off, he has the confidence and ability to knock down the open 3. He isn't perfect but those clamoring to replace him need to understand that there isn't really anyone better out there we could get (in a 1-to-1 trade without giving up more value).

He is just one of those guys you have to let play out a little and see if he can heat up. And if he cant, they'll sit him. Also, don't forget he provides 'veteran' leadership and I think its written somewhere in the Rockets rule book that we have to have one Argentine on the team at any given moment.

While Kevin Durant and Lebron might be the best players in the league now...Melo himself is a prolific scorer and can get hot whenever. He plays a lot like Kobe, but with size/bulk...

He's shooting 37% from the field and only 34% from three point land. For a three point specialist that is not good.

His PER is abysmal. 10.3. There are literally dozens of wings with better PER numbers than that.

feel like only time lin makes 3 is when he steps on the line.

Harden ISO got those final points to put us over the top.

Is it still a bad thing, or not?
