On another note, we REALLY need a better backup wing than Delfino. I know he has hit some big shots this year and made some big plays, but overall he is killing us. I can't stand how he jacks up contested perimeter jumpers and tries to handle the ball so much when Harden or Lin are on the floor.

If Morey, at the trade deadline, can offload Delfino and bring in a better backup SG/SF I will be happy even if we don't upgrade at the 4.

41% from the field, not great, but not bad either. He helped the Rockets cut it down from a 14pt deficit to 3.

I think Mchale needs to explore d-mo some more. He appears to have the talent to be a legit post up player. Wouldn't it have been metaphorically perfect if D-Mo entered the "Wolves Den" tonight and showed he's not afraid to go into the woods?

Mchale missed a big metaphorical opportunity

2 games behind Golden State, 1.5 games ahead of Utah and Denver, up to 5-7 on the road, 5-10 vs the West, 11-2 vs the East.

    .571

3rd in the South West division, 4 games ahead of Dallas.

SAS and OKC going to be very tough, but we got enough of a cushion that I think we'll be okay.

Delfino also had 5 huge points in the 4Q to keep the Rockets within Harden distance.

I'm with him shooting 3's as opposed to Morris.

    Impressions:

    1. Harden is a legit super star; he is clutch, can take over games, and can finish.

    2. Asik is a monster. He is not only huge but relatively agile for his size. He is a rebounding machine. He can score. He is aggressive and physical. Very impressed with him.

    3. Cut Douglas.

    4. Linn didn't have a good game, but hit a big shot. Not a super star, but has his moments.

    5. I love Parsons, very smart player who impacts the game in multiple ways.

    6. Smith makes more of a difference than Morris.

The Rockets are a piece or two away from contention, and I never thought I would be saying that this soon.

Please no LOF vs LOH debates. Both contributed key plays in the final 44 seconds to get us the win:

Morris was horrible tonight. The Rockets really are a legit 4 away from being in the Top tier in the West.

I think they should keep Delfino but add another option. Maybe if they had the extra talent they can give Harden more minutes to rest during game time.

I'm liking Dunleavy another swingman with playmaking ability, a very efficient scorer, and better 3P shooter than Delfino.
