Statement win. On a back to back and refs were trying so hard to screw us but we came through. This team is mentally tough, loving it!

    Btw Harden is God.

Im glad Lin came through down the stretch with big plays...one was an offensive foul to the face(took one for the team)...Then a big jumper...and then the huge deflection at the corner knocking the ball out of Barrea's hands...

Then give the ball to your boss and let him do his work...

Great Team win...and great confidence booster.

PS. Love missed some open looks he usually drains...just fyi

Rockets had no business winning that games. Our defense needs to be better & we need to get back to the ball movement & player movement we adopted before. Thankfully our starters stepped up down the stretch but against a better team we wouldn't have won this game.

Minny scouted us well & I don't think the team was anticipating this. Also we were likely exhausted so this day off is much needed. Spurs are going to be tough competition. Need to get back to getting stops pushing the pace & passing in transition over dribbling on the break, trusting teammates etc.

We are in the toughest stretch of our season right now. If we can gut it out until the trade deadline and stay at or above .500 we should coast into the playoffs (knock on wood).

Love is a power forward though, he's not a great ball handler so he can never really carry the ball at the clutch moments, plus he's an amazing rebounder, so you want someone like him to be the 2nd chance guy.

An example for Houston would be game 1 of the 95 finals, ball was in Clyde's hands and rebound tip in was Hakeem.

It's like the rockets remembered to turn on the afterburners and run run run. what a finish.

i like how comfortable lin and harden were together at the end of the game.

loved jim peterson's call. something like: yeah, you need a player like that. [referring to Harden]. we need a player like that. to win a championship you need a player like that.
and also, [about harden earlier in the game], he's no lebron or carmelo, but he;s made in the same mold.

    This.

Also, our started did a good job by finishing strong in the 4th against all the bad calls and terrible refs.

Harden really showed why he is getting that contract. TD did some good defensive work. Lin did miss his player twice but made it work when it really counted.

It was ugly but we got it. With this bad officiating, I would have been furious if we lost.

Kudos to Asik for playing like a man and setting some devastating high picks...was tee-ing off on their guards...

Kudos to Lin and Harden playing well down the stretch...

Kudos to Rick Adelman for not playing Kirelenko on James Harden...

I posted in another thread that Harden should take between 22-25 shots each game to maximize his production. Today he took 22 shots. Normally he only took less. Although Delfino has 11pts, he is 4 for 13! Almost shot us out of the game.

Lol it was funny when the Timberwolve announcer's said Harden was having a "quiet" game and then just exploded for his 17 in the 4th. Great win
