No to Cook we seen enough of him in the OKC match never want to see Cook again. Carlos can handle starting in my opinion. Or I do like the idea of starting Greg. He provides an inside presence, a lot of offensive rebounding & extra PNR opportunities for Harden & Lin. With Love rebounding is key. But Morey said Parsons will start apparently so this conversation seems moot. I think Parsons should be on minutes watch though he is really beat up.
They should start Delfino, give Parsons a rest, he and Harden get ridiculous minutes at times and for long term benefit, we shouldn't over use play him. Time for Cook to earn his roster spot again outside practice and garbage time play.
Cosign I like D-Mo too but he has to pay his dues and sit Rest Parson so he be healthy for future games I want to see if Aldrich and Cook can help this team McHale will have to use one of them to keep it a 8 man rotation
Yeah. I wonder if the coaches have dumped the Morris at 3 experiment. If so, it's too bad. Morris is too small to play the 4 full-time. And we should send all our starters home when we play the Spurs. It's a 4-games-in-5-days stretch, Pop.
If I've said this once I've said this a thousand times. No good will come of banging your knees together. But do they listen?
For the pro-Delfino fans out there, you should know that his TOs are way up this year, include 5 TOs in 22 mins against the Celts last week. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/d/delfica01.html Per 36 mins: 2.0 TOV%: 13.6 All numbers are career highs or near career highs for him. And for some reason his FG% and 3P% is down by 20+ points compared to his career, yet he's shooting more shots per game. Even with the downward trend in productivity, I really don't mind him as a spot up shooter, but the problem is that he has this play-making mentality. If Parsons can't start. I rather see a bigger front-court with 5-Asik, 4-Smith, 3-Morris, then switch to a bench of TD, Delfino, Cook, and DMo.
But if he's playing with Lin and Harden in the starting group, I would expect him to attempt less playmaking.
Morey said he heard Parsons should be fine. Hope he heard right. Maybe Parsons just got excited and had a knee erection, which goes down after a while.
Well at least its not serious and its listed day to day. That's why icing after games are so important...
We use a 1 in 4 out setup, because our backcourt is where outr strength is, allowing them to have their 4 sit around the paint helping stop penetration from Harden or Lin would completely ruin our offense.
McHale did say they were experimenting with both Smith and Asik on the floor simultaneously. What I'd love to see is if maybe both of them were out setting a series of screens, but I don't know if they'd had enough practice time to implement this.
