I'm not a HUGE Breaking Bad fan (I'd give it a 7-8 out of 10 or so, and I know...I'm in the minority), but there's no denying that Bryan Cranston is one of, if not THE, best actor on television. Seriously fantastic stuff from him in just about everything he does.

He is seriously underrated. He carries the show well. The other actORS are great, but without him this show would not have made it past season one.

I believe you have gotten to the point and misunderstood it at the same time. A subtle message on the show is to show you the development of the character or transformation if i may, he becomes evil but you are so invested in him that you still root for him.

adding to that the thing I find most fascinating is the juxtaposition between walt & jessie to show just how far bad walt has broken and just how far good jessie has broken, so to speak.

That's kind of the point to the entire show .. Your feelings about the way his character transformed means he was successful in his role .. Sounds like you wanted some kind of "and they lived happily ever after" ending .. I'm guessing they don't.

This is the best show on right now, and top 3 of all time. Anybody that says otherwise is risking making an enemy.

Very much agreed! As I said, I'm still not the biggest fan of the show compared to others, but without Cranston, the show suffers BIG TIME. Hard to really picture another actor in the role of Walter White.

I believe this is where I am with the show... I loved walt from the beg. and up untill he killed Gus, but now I feel that it's just too much for him sometimes. The "evil" walt just feels weird I guess. Anyways very very good show i will continue to watch it and see how the finale ends. A lot of T.V shows should take the formula Breaking Bad has and end it around 5 or so seasons...I laughed after he shot Mike and apologized for it. I kind of figured it would have happened but i actually liked Mike.

Top 3 T.V show of all top though.

Totally agree. Just curious, what are the other 2 in the top 3?

    fixed

I share the same sentiments.. I think BB is the first show that I actually get offended when and if someone dogs it. I'd break up with my gf if she were to slight this amazing show.

    Also..
I've never had such joy when introducing this show to people. I've seen the first season easily over 20 times with the intentions of getting others hooked on dis blue magic.

You're more generous than I am. I can't watch the same show/movie more than twice .

The Wire wears the crown for me. Others would add the Sopranos. I give honorable mentions to Mad Men and Homeland.

Tbh, It is #1 for me, but I can see how someone else might put one or two shows ahead of it. Anything lower than 3 is not forgivable.

I've seen the Sopranos, its great but I would still put BB ahead of it. There were a couple of seasons that were just dragged out.

Haven't seen The Wire so can't comment on that.

Mad Men is overrated to a great degree, I've seen every season and it has its hit and miss moments. Its just that every guy wants to be Don Draper.

Homeland is good, but nothing more. As a show running now, I keep up with it but there is nothing too special about it. Carrie gets too annoying sometimes.

A show that has really been growing on me is one I used to be extremely critical of before. The Walking Dead had a really dragged on 2nd season, but the way the 3rd season is going has kept me on the edge of my seat.

Game of Thrones is not close to the same level as the books, but a good adaptation regardless.

The Top shows I keep up with are:

    BB
    The Walking Dead
    GOT
    Dexter

Shows I don't keep with anymore:
    Californication
    True Blood
    Revenge ( I can't even believe I gave this show a try)

Just finished all 4 seasons in 4 days on Netflix. I'm hooked on this show! Where can I watch season 5 online?
