I think that TOR game with 2 total screens for Lin on Calderon in the first half plus half the 3rd got the coaches put on notice, then in the NYK game they stumbled upon another "innovation": Harden setting a screen for Lin.

After that single Harden screen for Lin, I think I counted 14 Harden screens for Lin in MEM and CHI. Could it be that the coaches are finally learning how not to be incompetent? It's all good. The more focus on Lin driving, the higher Harden's efficiency.

    Oh no ):

If he can't even bend his knee he's probably not going to play tomorrow.

Had to dvr this one and man what an ass kicking. Total domination on the road against a very good defensive team.

And to espn... Get f@cked. I don't think their halftime crew even uttered the word "rockets" once throughout the entire program.

My conclusion: The Rocket's offensive system has become extremely good at getting high percentage shots off.

Good D is about sticking to a system and being quick enough in transition to maintain the system. Good D will stop a lot of simple offensive systems because quicker rotations gives a smaller window for high percentage offensive shots.

However, you have Lin who seems to find high percentage shots everywhere and Harden who has an astounding efficiency and opens up the floor, resulting in many players shooting >50%. And now they are finding many diverse types of high% shots (assists, spot ups, drives, etc) rather than just the open 3. In short, it is terrifying.

At least, the offensive system for the starters is terrifying. The bench... can't really perform at that level offensively. This game showcased it when the bench came in, got trapped by the Bull's D, lost a lot of points, and made the starters come back out. Don't get me wrong, the bench players are GOOD, but they can't take advantage of the small timing window and limited options that a good defense gives. But... our starters make it look easy. AND FUN. $$$

To be fair a clip of Lin making a jumper said it all how the HOU-CHI game was going

Harden definitely had nerves during the first game but they won these with a team effort. So hopefully both Asik, Lin, Parsons, everyone will step up and help Harden beat OKC

Former backup center Asik (20 points 18 rebounds) destroyed Noah the guy he played behind in Chicago.

Looks like the Bulls got rid of the wrong center!

Noah's reached his ceiling. I have a feeling Asik hasn't.

Who was the brainiac commentating that said "Jeremy Lin is not that fast, you're making him look like an all-star"? What a biased un-objective idiot. It's like he doesn't like the reality he's seeing, since he probably created his own reality where Lin isn't that good and is overrated as a player, and Lin's play against the Bulls was causing disharmony in that reality he created. Funny the things people will tell themselves to make them more mentally comfortable, even if it isn't true.

The Roxx just blew away another quality defensive team The Bulls by 20+ points, scoring 120 at their home court. They have been doing this to the best defensive teams lately. Folks, stop trashing or second guessing Jeremy Lin. We watching Linsanity II now. Linsanity II + Beardsanity is the new show in town and just the beginning. Roxx is just a new and super young team playing together for less than 30 games, with none of the starers over 3 years experiences in NBA and yet they are making waste of some of the best teams, East or West. Linsanity II + Beardsanity are the real deal. Have some patience to let these young guys develop into a champion team in a few years.

What, I'm shocked!!! The Chicago crowd wasn't chanting "over rated" during Lin's free throws? :p

Anyone know why JLin was icing his elbow at the end of the game?

Sad to hear that Chandler banged his knee. Sucks if he can't play tomorrow.

    Lin on Asik

We did a great job on the boards and from there, we just tried to run,” said Jeremy Lin, who made eight of 10 shots for 20 points to go with his 11 assists. “Having (Asik) on the floor is a game-changer. He’s an incredible defender, an incredible help defender and individual defender. He anchors us

    Asik have an interview?

"It’s OK,” Asik said of dominating his former team. “I’m just happy we won the game."

    Chandler P

“Our best offense is our defense, hands down,” said Chandler Parsons, who scored 23 points. “We’re so much more efficient on the break when we can make plays, space the floor and let James do his thing or let me or Jeremy push the ball. And it starts with O (Asik).”
