I think Lin had a slow start due to his post-surgery recovery and him trying to find his identity on this team. I am starting to see more of his quickness now. Reminiscent of his play in NY.
He is overcoming a knee injury/confidence issue. I think Linsanity was not as big a fluke as many thought. The guy is extremely explosive. Not Russel Westbrook explosive but explosive none the less and extremely intelligent. His celing is undetermined potential wise. If he improves his jumper, were looking at an all-star pg. Lin/harden duo is tearing up defenses.
Like I said in the very first post, I was silent on Lin playing badly because I wanted to give him the chance, obviously. But he was just terrible so I just voiced out what was in the back of my mind. Apparently, a lot of people shared the same thought. But, then, the LOFs arrived and it became beautiful. Still, I didn't really mean it. (and LOFs can quote this over and over so the ruse is up). But I had the thought that Lin was garbage on the back of my mind; you can entertain those things. Don't believe me if you want. That's the truth, though. Thank you all.
Its all good man, its damn frustrating to watch someone go from having so much skill and potential to looking like trash... But Jeremy has turned the corner is coming around and the Rockets are racking up wins, just keep it going.

Except Harden will get his cuz off night or not he'll shoot because he is a SG whereas Lin will limit himself if he's not feeling it as he's a pg.

This thread is a joke. Whoever created it should be banned for life and should stop talking about Bball period. Cmon any dude that put up the numbers that Lin put up during Linsanity under that much pressure and scrutiny and for decent number of games, just can't be a scrub. Period. Sure he will never average those numbers over his career but this dude can flat out play in the NBA. If you couldn't see this during that stretch, your bball IQ is just fail. This OP just couldn't wait to point out how much Lin sucked and how overrrated he was that he put up this thread pre maturely. He didn't take into account the new system, new Coach, Lin's injury, not to mention Lin is still essentially just a second year player. Do us all a favor and stop posting about bball for a while.
Stop this Bill Clinton "I did it but did not enjoy it" type BS. This thread and your tagline is a disgrace. Please take my advice or this thread will pop up every week for a long time, maybe 4 years. Start another thread, titled something like "My apology to JLin and the bad joke thread". Then say something with the following tone: "Guys, I was definitely wrong about JLin and the joke thread was not only completely inaccurate, it was also in bad taste. JLin is obviously a very good player and very important to our success. I again give my apologies for the joke thread, no excuses." Then I think people will start leaving this thread alone, and telling people who still try to bring it up to leave it as an APPROPRIATE apology was given. None of this BS denial BS.
