Knicks' Felton says no doubt he’s better than Rockets' Lin

Felton is what he is, a $3.48M point guard. Someone should remind him that he's not Westbrook. He only has to be serviceable.

 

Te knicks fans are not happy with Felton. He gets pounded in the forums. In dec he's shooting like awful....Lin on the other hand is shooting what 55 or 60 percent? And the rockets are the top offense on the nba.....with the best back court in the nba.... And they are th youngest team in the nba.....not bad... Remember that the next time they lose

 

The problem with Felton is that he shoots way top much and doesn't take quality shots. He forces it way too much instead of deferring.

 

So, Toney Douglas for Ray Felton anyone?

One of the worst threads ever.

 

Always got into running matches against Lin, took WAY too many shots. You'd think a vet would have more sense then that..

 

Felton and "sense" do not belong in the same sentence. If he had any vet sense, he wouldn't have come in out of shape and lead a locker room mutiny that got the coach fired and trashed the entire season for Portland last year.

 

He's supposed to find Melo. That's what he said his job was. And there was this implication (even Tyson made remarks) that Lin was too inexperienced to find Melo and Amare in their sweet spots, but Jeremy never took these many shots under Woodson!

 

Felton sucks.
If he reined himself in and played SMART basketball he'd be pretty good. His crossover is killer. Too bad his head inflates everytime he touches a basketball and he starts tunnel visioning.

It's official...Felton is not as good as Lin.its not close

This is the Lin I expected all year....and with harden being so unselfish and Lin playing point. ... Best. Back court in the nba

Jeremy Lin - Started less then 50 something games in two seasons.

Felton is exhibit 1A on why I can't understand Rockets fans who feel like we should be a more "complete" team by shooting more 2-point jumpers. Felton is actually good at most things. He has passing ability. He can shoot the 3. He's EXCELLENT at not turning the ball over. But his pension for shooting 18 footers like they're gimmes is what kills the team. There's a reason why teams give him that shot, and a reason why the Rockets almost never take that shot. It's just a horrible, horrible shot.

And...Felton after 8 seasons is being compared to Lin, who has less then one season under his belt. Lin is still developing. Felton has hit his ceiling. End of thread. lol
