These guys are definitely some strange cats...in some ways though, Im glad they have something that can unite them with others and make them feel wanted in society.

Too many things can go wrong when you're weird and arent involved in social activities.

    Yeah, no.

Whenever they talk about getting aroused by anything but at least their own species, you know they're just sick.

    Lyle's mom?

Again, Rule 34... If it exists... There is porno about it.

I once tested rule 34 on Erin Esurance. I fapped.

I nominate this for post of the year. Sheer quality. Thought provoking. Funny. Tasteful. This is exactly what every poster on cf.net should strive to demonstrate.

    Well done moes!!!

I'm secure enough to say that I like the show. I used to think otherwise until I watched the show. I don't get aroused by them though.

Basing judgements on the actions of a few isn't fair. Those that "clop" were likely already furries before. Every fandom has these guys.

I thought the whole bronie thing was some intentionally ironic hipster thing where smug kids in tight jeans were re-appropriating something from the cultural dustbin of history.

And I really hate that crap.

I didn't realize it was based on a reboot of the franchise and I won't make fun of them anymore.

The Darker parts of the Internet are truly scary. R34 ruined Pokemon for me a while back.

I've watched minutes of the others with my niece (naptime!) and I'll back anything with more substance in childrens programming.

Saw my first real live Bronie today. Chubby guy, about 6', with shoulder length unwashed hair getting a coke at Wendy's. He had a My Little Pony satchel with a big representation of ponies strung over his shoulder and a shirt that was a play on the MLB symbol, but instead was MLP with the outline of a pony. On the back of the shirt was "20% cooler," whatever that means. Attached to the strap of the briefcase thing were a number of MLP clip-on figures.

He was in front of me and the way he interacted with the Wendy's counter gal surprisingly led me to think he is socially awkward.

I should have snapped a photo, but for the full effect, it had to be a full frontal and I'm not that brazen.

I once demonstrated rule 34 to a roommate. I asked him to name a wholesome childhood memory of which there would be no p*rn. He named TMNT. Finding April O'Neil with the turtles in less than wholesome circumstances was not exceptionally challenging.

Anyone know if this documentary is on Netflix? Sounds hilarious lol.

I've never watched the show I can't judge, but wow haha I feel like there are far less embarassing fandoms people could be a part of.

Saw that documentary with the two middle-aged male Tiffany fans; one of those guys has gotta be dead by now and the other one is eventually gonna breach the security detail.

Older folks who can compartmentalize their social standing and everyday interactions from their pop culture interests, and develop what seem to be demographically incongruous tastes. This seems to be in the same vein.
