You could say that about any QB in the NFL. That's not saying much. If that's all we can expect then I have to wonder why the Texans gave him the contract they did.

We cannot spend every game hoping he won't get hurt.
He cannot play to not get hurt
Kubiak cannot call plays to not put him in harms way

Put your money where your mouth is. The Texans will play in the AFC championship game.

So your " mwahaha elite my ass" is a logical argument? That's comedy

If you were the.least bit logical you would have been able to realize that the vast majority don't think Schaub is " elite", I.e, top 5 QB. He's a good QB who has his downfalls but at the end of the day he is still top 1/3 of the league. That's the logical thought that the vast majority of people have of him.

Te only thing illogical is why you can't be logical about 1) acknowledging most realize that Schaub is not elite 2) why you still to try and pretend to be a texans fan.

Vast majority? I guess you haven't reviewed this thread.

I tried being logical and mature, all I got in return was insults and disrespectful .gifs.

HeyNow started this thread with Alex Smith numbers over the course of 2 seasons (silly, I know) and it was only 8 games! Sigh...

    I've always said:

    He's good, not great.

This was his resume that people deemed elite? Irresponsible.

I think Kubiak inhibits Schaub as much as anything

If we don't win it all for AJ, the worst mistake in franchise history would be extending Matt "I can't throw unless receiver is wide open... and I'm completely untouched" Shaub... especially when we had a chance to pair AJ with Manning.

i wouldn't say any but 75% of starters. there are some bad qbs who start its still a hard position to fill. i know i am hard on schaub but i don't think he holds them back as much as he won't win many games. you can win the sb with him as long as you don't need HIM to win a game on the way.

I've read this thread and yes, the vast majority don't think Schaub is top 5. You seem to be letting a verbose minority alter your perception of the reasonable majority.

we're gonna see what Schaub is made of in the playoffs. but when your answer is TJ yates, i can't really take you seriously.

i actually want to see how much Yates has progressed. i just don't want to have to see him in the playoffs.

This is why I wanted them to win this weekend
I would have liked to see Yates get a whole game in next week
