Yes, I know it's Hoopsworld but this article has actual quotes from Smith and is not some speculation/"rumor" about stuff:

BTW, just like when I read every Scola and Delfino quote with an accent, I am now reading every Greg Smith quote double speed. Anyone else doing the same?

My reading pace can't keep up with Greg's speaking speed.

It's easy for us to forget that he's only 21-years old. His speech will slow to sophistication as he get's older. I've read some comments that border on insults to his intelligence.

Frankly, I think he's a bright young man, who makes good decisions on the court and does not force anything. He knows his role, and that will keep him in this league for a long time. He's going to be a lot richer than most of us.

Sorry kid, you're just another "asset" at Daryls disposal.

To be clear, I do not think fast talking means he's dumb or unsophisticated, it just means he is a fast talker. Saying dumb things at any speed is what makes you dumb.

May be true, but Morey isn't dumb enough to trade him any time in the near future. Guy has so much potential, and the better he gets, the more valuable he becomes as an asset. Morey has been VERY good at buying low and selling high with all of his players, with the possible exception of Jordan Hill.

Barring something like a KLove, LMA, or Josh Smith trade, Greg Smith will be here for a while.

Lol why do people care about how players talk in interviews? this is always an issue here. Some guys just aren't comfortable with talking to reporters to cameras and recorders in their face. Doesn't make them a dumbass....

Funny thing is, this guy's making the draft rooks semi-disposable. Put them in a trade for a top-tier PF. Keep Smith. He beasts.

It seems his role increases by the day...he will be VERY GOOD for us for a long time...when him and harden are on the court together harden looks for him more than anybody else, that trust is gonna increase and will be very important in the future

Boxing out his guy for a rebound is one. I guess he could try and add a little 10-12 ft jumper to his game as well.

He only texts them to Coach McHale now, an act which the coach finds both somewhat flattering and somewhat disturbing at the same time.

Seriously, though, Greg Smith seems to really love the coach.

Suck it, you "Fire McHale" mob idiots!
