Seeing the Niners get their asses handed to them one week after beating the Pats in Foxboro made me feel better. Makes me remember even really good teams can play poorly. Hopefully the Texans can rebound and sustain the momentum for more than a week.

Denver hasnt beaten anyone of significance and the Pats barely beat the Jags. That could also make you feel better.

It's not that they lost...it's HOW they lost. It's how they never appeared to play with any urgency. It's Kubiak's insistence on running on 2nd and long every time that opportunity is presented. It's injuries piled up. It's how they have yet to look again like the team they were when they beat Baltimore earlier in the season.

Media hyped stopping Peterson all week long. Every interview with Texans.
Stop him, make Ponder beat you.
    So guess what happens...

If media hype drove the gameplan for yesterday's game, then the guys calling for Kubiak's head are correct. I doubt that happened.

Well we just got called out by jaws and hodge on sports center... Saying we are plenty talented but it seems more and more that this team isn't mentally tough enough nor does it seem that we have the ability to adapt our offensive game plan once teams start negating our running game.

And that sounds right. Hard to argue with those who say this team doesn't show up for its biggest tests.

I have been trying to avoid the sports news here in MN to try to put the crappy Texans' performance behind me but it hard here with so many excited about the Vikings' performance. The more I think about this game the more it infuriates me.

The Vikings were playing their hearts out but if the Texans want to be an elite team they needed to step up and make a statement also.

even during the game, announcers were perplexed that the team was running the ball with Forsett instead of taking shots down the field...What happened to our receivers...Lester Jean, Martin, Posey all disappeared??

Why not get the ball to Casey, graham and Daniels...This team has too many weapons for it not to succeed...Matt needs to step up his game...he has just been playing like a pansy recently...If the running game isnt producing he needs to attack teams through the air...

Matt's been with this offense for atleast 4-5 years...he needs to be the reason the Texans are clicking.

The Texans are like 0-11 against Indy at Indy...it will take a complete team effort to win on the road, regardless of whether Indy needs the game or not...What happened yesterday is not acceptable...12-4 or 13-3...we look like the team that everyone in the AFC wants to play, while the Broncos and NE are teams that no one wants to play

The team did an excellent job slowing down AP, but Ponder played a really good game and only scored 23 points. I expected their team to have atleast 17 points...they have been playing good football.

But I expected our team to put up 30. We are so concerned about not making mistakes, that we are not getting the ball to our stars in space and rhythm...

And if there wasn't enough going against the Texans... the Colt's coach (Pagano) will be back on the sidelines for the game.

Yeah, texans defense did all they could by holding them to 16 ( that last TD was almost like the texans have given up...I still don't understand how Keo sees the field). Texans offense didnt hold up their end

I can let a game or two slide by but the lack of resiliency and quick trigger to quit is painful

I'm really worried about the offense or lack thereof. Ignoring sub-par performances by our QB/RB, the o-line will be our Achilles heel. MS/AF aren't going anywhere for the next few years so they must be accommodated.

Passing: Every Texan fan knew when the contract was offered to Schaub what his limitations were and his inability to fix those. It's his nature to flourish behind a good offensive line. I looked at old games from 09-11 last weekend. Matt's body language and his passing game... wow. Behind the Berlin Wall of Winston, Brisiel, and Myers, Schaub was elite. He can't change his nature.

Running: Arian like Matt has his limitations, and fans knew them before the contract was signed. He depends on the O line and a great FB like Leach.

Solution: None really. Just hope and pray for the short-term otherwise Texans are one-and-done. Once the line is fixed, most Schaub critics will eat crow.

I agree the biggest problem seemed to be the O-line. That was abundantly evident on the goal line when the O-Line just seemed to collapse in the face of the Vikes' blitz. Many plays where Schaub was harried seemed less his mistakes and more that the O-Line wasn't protecting him enough.

It's pretty bad when you see a steady stream of linemen rotating every other drive. Even the left side was having problems...Duane brown had a bad game by his standards.

Is Matt the worst mobile Qb in the Nfl or one of the worst lol? Yeah i know Brady and Manning are slow as well but their feet are so much better in the pocket or moving from it to throw the ball. It's like he's stuck in mud when someone after him or the pocket closes in.

Somebody buy Matt P90X for Christmas. Tell him to especially pay attention to the Plyometric portion of the program.
