I respect the guy for being honest about it (rather than making up some BS reason like "you were 30 seconds late, you're fired") and saving himself and his employee a huge headache. Yeah, it's a crappy reason to get let go, but it's his business and I believe in the right to hire and fire people for any reason.
Didn't they say she had worked there for 10 years? I'm assuming he had been there during that entire time when I ask "it took you that long to find out she was irresistable?" Did he hire her? And I have to add that I find her resistable, but... what happened to her was wrong.
Did you watch the video, though? Apparently his wife demanded the lady be fired when the guy was busted texting her.
Can't watch the video, but even still, he's ultimately responsible for the decision to fire her. It was creating problems in his personal life, so at least he used that as the actual reason for letting her go. It said she was a dental assistant for 10 years, but not at this particular business. So who knows. Sometimes sexual tension/relationships can develop after a long period of time. She seems pissed, as if this is somehow affording men a special privilege, when women would be protected for firing male subordinates for the same reason. Also, gay supervisors would be within their rights in firing people of the same sex for the same reason. So, it's hard to see how it is gender discrimination since that street goes all kinds of different directions.
He should never talk to her about the bulge in his pants or her orgasms. That's crossing the line IMO. If her dress was making him feel uncomfortable (horny at the office) then he should have told her to change her attire to something more conservative and taken action if she didn't.
If she is an assistant, she needs to be wearing scrubs...so I dont understand the comments about wearing revealing clothing, as that makes no sense.
Point is: a male worker would never have been fired for this. So, it can be considered gender discrimination. If nothing else, he should be sued for unemployment benefits.
