    Wait, your HS football is still going? Our championship games are the first of December. Do you start later (because it's hotter) or is it because Texas is just generally football-crazed?

    Yes, This year. The way the divisions work is that 4 teams in each district make the playoffs. The two schools with the highest enrollment go to division 1 and the other two schools go to division 2. So, some years, depending on who makes the playoffs, a school could go division 1 and other years it could go division 2.

    I told a coworker last week that Allen and Katy would be the 2 champs...guess I need to remind him of that today.

    Allen really needs to build a new school..but they probably won't because it will water down their team, and after building that brand new uber-priced stadium facility they won't take a chance in losing games by splitting their school in two.
