He would also be slammed if he didn't go. I'm sure there would be media outlets writing how by not going he was being unappreciative to the fans wanting to see him. The best thing he can do is just to keep playing like himself and that way if he gets voted in no one can say anything bad about it. Excellent point. This reminds me when back in the early 20th century when Jewish people were excelling in school and getting admitted into the Ivy League schools at a high rate and then all of a sudden they "changed" their admission process to put a quota on them. It's one thing to adjust the rules to make it more fair. It's another when you are specifically targeting a person or group.
No love for Chandler Bang ! I vote for Asik, Parsons, Lin and Harden everyday by phone and PC. I was surprising that there was no vote count for Chandler?
Houston is a fuucking racist, backward, redneck town, not like the two coasts, don't you ever forget that
Among point point guards who average over 30 minutes. He is 25th in PER. You can vote for a guy just based on his race, ethnicity, team he played for, college team he played for, or whatever reason. However his play on the court over this season does not warrant a spot.
If LIN got vote in, majority of fans think he DESERVE to be in AS. If LIn got vote in, why should he decline to play. The voting is not under his control. If he believe in God, should he be humble to accept what been arranged for him.
Wow, this has to be the dumbest statement I have read in a while. You don't think the pressure is caused by the medias. You don't think the pressure is caused by the so-called Linsanity which was invented by the medias? You don't think the pressure is caused by the controversial contract that has been one of the mostly hotly debated basketball topics lately? Seriously, use your brain to think before you open your mouth next time. But actually I am not surprised this stupid nonsense came out from your mouth though. Everyone knows by now that your day job is hiding behind your computer to make hate posts in order to paint a certain group of posters in a bad light anyway.
No, it doesn't mean majority of NBA fans think that. When you can vote numerous times a day, everyday, and there are many many options, it has nothing to do with majority -- just intensity. It's not like Romney vs Obama, one citizen one vote. It's more like American Idol.
So what? PER is just another statistics that could be misleading - Jeremy Lin is a superstar player. Period.
I will be glad for Lin if he got vote in If anyone could not accept that, why not just try harder to vote whoever u think more desertive from now on(^-^)/
So Kobe is in front of Lin in this voting...but clearly Lin deserves it more...how so? Lin makes ever single one of his teammates better while Kobe make every single one of his teamates worse...last night Kobe was 16-41 from the field!!! and he scored only 34 points of of that... i bet Lin would score at least 50 points if he was allowed to shoot 41 times... Juts look at the roster of the two teams and Lakers are 13-14 while rockets are 14-12.... and referees support for lakers and kobe dwight and pau and this is even more astonishing... Does this make more clear while Lin deserves it?
per can be misleading like a ton of your posts. if lin took more shots, by him shooting 41%, the per would go up. As of today, Lin is playing like a 17th ranked pg. Three more games in a row where he scores 16 or more and he will surpass nba hall of famer Lillard. give the guy at least a year. he is on your team for heaven's sake. Why be a fan at all?
