So true. Omer Asik and Greg Smith are starmakers. Able to elevate the game of D-Leaguers like Lin. I hope they trade his ass to NY for a proven talent like Felton. Get'er done Morey!
Whether you are a LOF or LOH, one thing that I think 100% of people should agree on is that JLin is certainly not a joke. Will Dei be man enough to admit it?
Rockets blow out Memphis & the thread is under 59 pages. If this was a loss it would be a totally different story.
I thought his shooting was off tonight, one 3 had a foot on the line, missed a few wide open ones, and the one attempt coming out of the half just looked as bad as it could be. Still nice stat line for him racking up stats during garbage time, nothing wrong with that, after several 4th Q benchings from several weeks back. He looked a little intimidated by Gasol today and didn't really drive to the lane as much. But at the same time, he clearly thought his shot was off tonight and wanted to feed the hot hand of Harden. Great win.
But you have to admit the same happened with the LOF. He played great in SA and the "return of linsanity" threads appeared, same with his first game against the Knicks. I'm just glad he is starting to play well and him and harden are starting to work together. This is starting to become a really interesting team.
Not really. There has been many games when we win and there's still a lot of pages due to LOFs complaining. Now Lin is getting time and playing better so theres no reason for the LOF-LOH arguments.
It looks like the Rockets made a concerted effort to keep the ball in Lin's hands to start each half, and also at the beginning of the 2nd and 4th quarters. It will be interesting to see if this continues.
Touche! What made the Rockets win over the Knicks at MSG so sweet was Dolan was watching from the stands. Even funnier was Lin had to use the Knicks media room for the post game conference.
I truly believe the coaches are starting to believe in this Linsanity thing...that he can really play at a very high level. I think it all started with that San Antonio game....as that opened their eyes to what he can do to help the team. I told everyone so that it may take an injury to Harden for the coaches to realize what Lin can bring to the table...and yeah this got me my RED mark. Now Lin just needs to hit more 3s......
I love that Lin doesn't force the issue when he's not feeling it. He is a pg and not a sg so that restraint is critically important. A good pg would make sure that the majority of plays are going to the man who is hot or to the easiest plays. His job is to create points in transition and to put his players in position to score first and foremost. Having said that, I do wish he'd look to drive more. He was clearly nervous about forcing it in, but he's gotta push through that, imo. An aggressive backcourt should be one of the hallmarks of this team and the engine that drives this team.
