He's inefficient because they have him camping out right infront of the three point line, not in the paint where he needs to be. Plus his defense may not be the best, but it isn't the worse.

I'd take a chance on him. He's a good passer, rebounder, and can catch a ball. Sacramento doesn't know how to treat players and that, right now, is a joke of a franchise.

Once again, Cousins sucks. He would have to learn how to play without shooting the ball all the time, and that might not be easy to do for a petulant baby like him. It's unfortunate he had to start his career in Sacramento - the absolute worse place for him to end up. It's going to take awhile for him to turn it around on another team. Don't want it to be ours.

I wouldn't mind taking a risk on him but then again twill and white come to mind. We can't fix anyone. He needs a Kidd to slow his role. If they want white and pat I'm all over it. Wait a minute..... Harden can put him under his wing and show all the strip clubs houston offers.

In conclusion, low risk high reward he is. Do want.

Cousins will be fine. We will just ask Royce White to mentor him.

Cousins is very inefficient probably doesn't help that he's surrounded by chuckers instead of someone to get him easy shots from time to time.

Don't get offended. This is the censor version quote from a black guy that blew my mind because he was right.

And what do you think will happen if there is a second big around the paint? Wouldn't that just make it that much more difficult for Lin and Harden to drive? Would the Rockets have the spacing they need to function on offense?

Nice theory and all, but it's just not true. Cousins gets a large number of post-up and finishing opportunities as a King, and is still garbage. He is inefficient because he can't even make layups. Here's his shot chart:

Those percentages right at the rim are historically bad. Just for fun, compare him to Omer Asik, who most would agree is not what you'd call a strong finisher around the basket at the center position:

DeMarcus Cousins is not even as good as Omer Asik when right at the basket. He is hot garbage.

I would want him but I'm not sure how he will mesh with offense. Is he a good pnr player?
