    Wow, can't believe I never saw this until today, at least he will be home with his family for Christmas.

    Say what you will about Fox News but their push for his release helped tremendously. This was clearly an extortion attempt that didn't work. Jailed for trying to declare a shotgun that was 1 inch over allowable length, that is pathetic.

    It was actually 1 inch shorter. the US custom side told him he was good to go and gave him the form. He went across and got arrested. Don't think the media really wanted to talk about a marine who needed a gun to help him cope with his PTSD.

    Great news. I heard about him a few months ago and really hoped he would be released and not sentenced to 11 years or whatever it was.
