Toughest matchup in the league for us. Their backcourt consists of two defensive monsters. Asik can be drawn away from the basket by either of their big men. They are more athletic than we are. If we pull out a win I will be extremely impressed.

morris draws bozo to the three point line and makes him pay by hitting 50% of them!
Lin and Harden just have to take care of the ball and we got this.

Double digit loss. No one can stop ZBO and tony Allen will keep Harden in check.

Breakout game for DMO. He fixes his boxing-out problem and goes for 15. Del3ino also makes an appearance.

Yeah am not optimistic for this game. The Grizzlies are simply a better team than us. To win we're going to need a breakout performance (ala Parsons in the 1st NYK game) or a major injury (ala Melo in the 2nd NYK game) to be competitive.

Additionally Lin and Harden need to maintain their high-scoring affair. So we're going to need Parsons, Morris, or someone off the bench (Douglas or Delfino, I'm thinking) to carry the extra weight.

Unfortunately I don't think any of that is going to happen. It's even questionable if Harden is going to be able to score his average this game.

    Weather forecast: Uh Oh.

their bigs are gonna kill our pgs, especially lin who doesn't have an outside shot right now so i'm seeing a block party for memphis all night, most likley going to be a mediocre game for him =/ hopefully others can step up

Lin needs to get his 3 point shot going this game like he did vs. Spurs. Their bigs will be blocking his shots all night if he drives in. This will be a loss I'm thinking. :(

If McHale goes smallball for 5+ minutes again, then we lose this one by double digits; if we see Asik-Smith-Motiejunas bigball, then we crush MEM in a 30-point blowout. It's that simple. MEM's bigs hate to guard bigs. If they have to guard bigs and help on bigs, they will just roll over and die.

Wanted to make my obligatory "Wrotäääääään" post but he's in D-League. :(

Anyways, think we'll lose this because of getting killed on the boards.

Memphis has been struggling a bit on offense, so I hope that continues. I'm wondering who is going to try to guard Randolph, Morris and Smith will have their hands full. Rockets will need to draw fouls and hit their three's. It will be a pleasant surprise if the Rockets win.

Guys, don't write us off in this one... we're 10-5 at home and Memphis is 6-4 on the road.

It was a close loss on the home court last time.

I think we have a good chance to win this time because:
    1) we will definitely have some home court advantage
    2) JLin will continue to shoot well as in the last couple of games
    3) we have discovered GSmith to help Asik contend their bigs at the post
    4) we should be able to guard Gay and Conly better this time
    5) Morris will score more than PPat's 8 points last time and help spread the floor for better perimeter shooting
    6) we can beat them on the transitions like in the games against the Knicks
    7) if our coaches could come up with better team defense against their PNRs
    8) Gay and Conly have a combined scoring average of 32.3 points while Lin and Harden's is 37. Harden only scored 18 PTS on 11/9. Lin and Harden had more than 50 points in both the last two games.
    9) with the newly found chemistry between our two elite guards, much more assists will come than last time, when we only had 7 combined from the two guards from a team total of 17, much less than our average of 22.2 assists per game.
    10) Our team's FG% was a poor 40.8% last time. I don't see any reason why we can't reach our season average of 43.9%, considering the 51.3 % and 44.9% in the last two games against two outstanding defensive team's in the league.

I'll put my bet down on this one.

If Jeremy Lin continues to play like he has the past two games, we win.

This is going to be a loss. We are overly dependent on Harden scoring wise (who is way to dependent on getting to the FT line) & I don't think Harden can handle Tony Allen he likley won't be getting a lot of FT's because Allen is good at defense without fouling.

Jlin has to show up, either that or Parson.
