I prefer my HD-PVR over a capture card, I can hook it up to a media center PC or my laptop or tablets when I want to via USB. http://www.amazon.com/s/?_encoding=...h-alias=electronics&sprefix=hd-pv,electronics Here are a few videos I've recorded with the PVR a few year ago... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/lsFgG-V12Zk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/vOM5UavRnww" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/UVELnX8oKgc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I have the same one. I use it to capture clips from television and games on my Xbox 360. It works great; awesome quality. The included software is OK, though I recommend trying 'VH Capture' or 'AmaRecTV' as they allow more options.
wow thanks! what is the diference?..........i like it has optical input but is there any diference other than itz externel? i guess scheduleing software?
It comes with scheduling software that works pretty well, but to be honest I've mostly just used it for manual recordings with my laptop. I made achievement guides for ****s and grins in the past, stuff like that. The sports videos I posted were just for testing purposes. I liked it being external because I could use whatever computer I wanted to with it.
rite.........im not sure if external is what I want or not.....i guess it has pass thru though.......which model do you have?
I bought mine several years ago, so I have an earlier 1212 version. I think the new ones have HDMI, mine has component.
