Thanks. I just had some Lagunitas Hop Stoopid and aged Cabot private stock extra sharp Cheddar. Which can also kill you.

But both are irrelevant to the need to enact more stringent gun laws in order to limit their availability.

Whoa, hang on a minute, son. Let me tell ya controling gins is much more complicated than you think. Don't get me started. While I don't think this country is going to be like Russia, but it's not that far fetched as you might think. Shoot, am I making any sense to you, son?

I actually wouldn't mind armed security guards in schools. They would have to surveillance the whole area 24/7? It can't just be school hours guarding the place, these bastards will find a way to shoot at people whether it be inside the classroom or outside in the parking lot where the buses are at.. they could be shooting from anywhere...

You think it's a good idea to have armed guards around kids with live ammos and hot guns?

Everything else aside (like how to ensure guards don't flip out), what kind of message does it send to kids about this country and the state of affairs?

No, we will not be. Take away the guns one step at a time.
I don't even think a buyback for fair maket vaule is needed.
All you need are medals like those given to war heroes and hand it to them and tell them how big of sacarfice it is for the country to give up their precious guns and how commendable it is. You go around and set up public ceremonies to give out those in exchage for guns. I am not even talking about expensive materials, maybe zinc, you know the same stuff that a penny is made out of.

That will be the first step, for folks like supernault, which I think is on the retreat and just need a little bit patting and cajoling. They just need a lit bit moral justification and little bit shame on you type of stuff. They are the good folks. ;)

Now, for the hardcore nuts, you need the next step that come really hard on them. Tripple penalty, mandatory sentencing, and what not. All necessary means to eradicate them.

Then, once those folks are out of the way, you then wage a war on illegal posessed guns, kill those MutherFs if need be.

There you have it. Its really that simple.

Well, there has been sighting of 9/11 was done by box cutters not guns.
But yeah I also thank them for really taking good care of their guns. Gee, have you seen the lingos they use in describing their guns, the gun training they have had, how they might take someone out in close quarters, in bull pits, the spontaneous and effused excalamation when telling you what kind of guns they own. Man, oh, man, is this what 2nd amendment about?

I only know a few people in my life who own multiple guns. That said, each and every one of them I find to be incredibly insecure and paranoid; constantly worried that the big bad government will take away their home or that...well, some "gangbanger" :)rolleyes:) obvious who they mean, will invade their home. I find their overwhelming fear to be incredibly sad and depressing.

The friends I have who own a single firearm as a means of protection do not fall into this category. They view it merely as a tool, akin to a power drill that's kept in storage until it's needed to perform a specific task. It's not a hobby designed to make them feel powerful or grant them control or as stress reliever.

Gun owners I understand. Gun enthusiasts I feel nothing but pity for.
