Very scare situation but if it was me I would've stopped and got out and fought him rather than try to run in the car. I am not saying that to be a tough guy but because if this guy is determined to run him off the road and he is doing everything he can to get away from the attacker, including driving on the wrong side of the road and sidewalk, he is putting a lot of other people in danger.

At the risk of taking a beat down from a bogan it might be better than inadvertently injuring others.

 

That is idiotic. First off this type of person wouldn't just settle for beating you up. He would pound you until you were dead or in a vegetable state. That's not even considering if he had a gun or a knife.

Personally I would stop also but only because I keep a pistol in my car and I would shoot his knee caps off.

 

I would have ran him over.

 

It is a good thing that nut wasn't carrying a gun.

 

First off in Australia he most likely doesn't have a gun and neither would you. Second I said if this was me and once more at the risk of sounding like a tough guy I think I can handle an angry bogan.

My point though is that the driver is putting a lot of others in dangers by trying to get away. In the video they even show him almost colliding with another car. I wouldn't want that on my conscious if someone else got hurt or worse because I was doing everything I could to get away without thinking about bystanders. It's one thing to risk my health and life and it's another to risk others.

Anyway in another video there is mention that the Olsen, the guy trying to get away, has been advised to retain legal counsel so he might be in some potential legal trouble over this.

 

It's Australia. Much stricter gun laws than the US. He might've had a knife though.
