He could end up like Drose (ACL) if he just drives in all the time tho. Don't want that to happen.
I have never quoted an NBA blogger / analyst and never will. I just call it as I see it - from what I gather. I don't claim to be anything special, I just love the game. My opinion is the truth to me. That's all i can say.
Probably where you LOF's get the idea that Lin and Harden cant play together and Lin has to come off the bench.
The last two games it looks like they finally started to stagger Harden and Lin's minutes. Not sure why it took 20 games for them to figure this out, but hopefully it continues.
They've always known this. But in the long run, it's impossible for this to work in the playoffs when both players going in the ~40mpg range. Why would the Rockets want a scenario where they're forced to finish games with Toney Douglas on the floor instead of a superior talent? Staggering their minutes is a short term solution. But the long term solution will always been them playing together in a cohesive manner.
Cohesive is not impossible, if Westbrook & Durant can co-exist, then Lin & Harden can too. But one of them has to become a more all-around player.

Morey doesn't know anything about basketball. All the NBA Bloggers say JLin can't play with Harden and the coaches are the problem. Morey you don't know anything!
Don't get sucked in Lou, save yourself! Another poster will join tomorrow and you will have the same argument again
LOF, I have found the ultimate Lin fan in the whole world. He thinks Lin will be a Hall of Fame one day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yy2VG_NqeAk
Lin had another nice game last night. As did Harden. I'm hoping Lin-Harden will be a decade of Frazier-Monroe for us. We just need the whole team and the ball to never stop moving, and we might get to see that.
Actually, only time will tell BUT IF he can improve his jump shot and score 18-20 a game consistently, he would be a top ten PG...Look at the top ten PGs statistical categories for this year and previous years. He's already in the top ten in 3 categories for PGs. If he upped his scoring by just 4 to 5 pts, he would be in the top ten in scoring. If he upped his assists by just 2, same thing. So pretty much with just a little more improvement, Lin could potentially be a top ten PG statistically in all the major categories. Obviously it's gonna depend on whether he can do this for most of his career. My point is it's not that entirely impossible given his work ethic and his young age.
Coach Nick: "All McHale has to do is figure out how to balance more evenly the PNR ball handling between James Harden and Jeremy Lin." Bingo!
i think I saw a post of some video doing an analysis of our offense regarding Lin.. does anyone have that link? I cant seem to find it and I dont remember which thread i saw it in.
