Texans 26-13, and we hold AP to 87 yards.

Guys why are you all so worried? Adrian Peterson is coming off of a huge injury from last year so the Texans Defense will eat him up. I think this will be a pretty easy win. Matt Schaub will continue his MVP caliber year and our special teams will continue to make big plays. My prediction is 45-7 Houston. You guys heard it hear first so don't take credit for these observations.

Stack the box and let the rest of the guys play man to man. They can't pass worth a crap and our secondary should be able to hold them.

AP will get his, but will not go off for crazy numbers.

    24 - 10 Texans.

Hope AP goes off for 200 yards and 2 tds for fantasy purposes and a Texans win.

Boxing up extra guys for Peterson only helps him. That's how great the guy is. You have to have a level of discipline when trying to tackle him because he breaks tackles at will.

Why the Texans will win!!!!!! If they win this game, they would have redeemed themselves on those 2 lopsided losses and a major factor is that we have a home game, bring your earplugs. I believe the Texans want to win more badly than the Vikings because like the coach and players have said, they want to win it for the fans, and a win with home-field would be 3-4 weeks of good feeling. If Minny doesn't alter their gameplan, it will be over by halftime, if coached by Belicheat. It should be over by 3rd quarter because I think Minny maybe too arrogant to run AP until he drops. Remember Eric Dickerson and Barry Sanders, great RB doesn't translate into wins.

    Milestones I'm hoping for:
Arian Foster gets to/exceeds 1400 yards...or he could go crazy and get to 1500 preferably
    Dre has 100 yards passing
Watt gets exactly 3 sacks to make things interesting in the last game
Schaub has no int, with 3 TD's

He's just terrible at it. If you're going to make the effort of trolling and coming up with a bbs shtick, at least make it a good one.

    Texans: 27
    Vikings: 17

I'll say AP has 1 TD and about 125 yards.

AP is going to go for 150+ but Texans are still winning the game. 24-14.

I've been looking at this game for about 8 weeks now as a loss. I'm not nearly as worried about Rudolph as I used to be as he's now the only real target but we still suck against the TE.

Also, they run on everybody and our starting linebackers are terrible against the run. I'd want Ruud and Sharpton out there. Merciless is going to get torn up. Torn. Up.

And if we try that crap where we have a DB at LB... we wont but man. They'll shred that up so fast.

I'm imagining one of those excruciatingly frustrating games where the opponent dominates the balls, gets 4 yards minimum on every run and lulls you to sleep just long enough to convert a few big plays. Similar to what the Panthers did to us last year. You know, dominant, ball controlling offense - what the Texans used to do.

I'm predicting loss but it wont matter. If it's a loss don't dwell on it too much.

If AP goes for 300 I hope they put HPD out there for his record breaking run so he can truck all those envious haters that tried to contain the beast.

You don't think the Rams and Bears (two teams with pretty good run defenses) didn't think that way also?

Living up here in MN I have been following the Vikes closely and listening to sportstalk radio (www.kfan.com for anyone interested) about the game. The talking sports head here are looking at the Texans' Lions and Jaguar games regarding the Texans weakness and the Vikes' Rams, Bears and Lions games for their strengths.

Here is how they see the key's to the game for the Vikings' win:
    1. They have to outscore the Texans. The Texans almost coughed up games against inferior opponents by letting them move up and down the field.
    2. Petersen continues his phenomenal run and is able to break into the weaker Texans secondary for big games.
    3. Ponder keeps playing smart like he has the last two games making timely plays on 3rd downs and doesn't cost the Vikings with boneheaded plays.
    4. The Vikings special teams come up big. Look for big returns on kick offs and punts. Blair Walsh is having a phenomenal year so look to go for field goals anytime the Vikes get within the 40. Kluwe is having a good year also so look to bury the Texans deep in their own territory.
    5. Contain Schaub. The Vikes D has come up well against pocket passers and Schaub isn't as mobile as he once was.

Should be an exciting game and I am looking forward to standing in the snow waving my Texans banner after a well earned Houston Victory!

I see absolutely no difference in Schaub's mobility this season versus the previous couple. And the Texans scheme frequently takes Schaub out of the pocket.
