Actually he was going to kill LaGuerta, and make it look like the mexican guy did it. She was going to die either way.
I mean I really hope they do...but... 1) It's entirely possible that she wouldn't come back to begin with, and her leaving the plant on Dexter's doorstep could be considered a farewell kind of thing. 2) When you look at the other "special guest stars" of the show, they have all been 1 season and done (Lumen, Lila, Brother Sam, Miguel, Trinity, etc.). Hannah McKay could fall into that category, but she's the first one they didn't completely wrap up, so who knows.
this show's ethical flashpoints are so predictable and clunky and contrived the bad acting just makes it even worse
They pretty much forgot about the dead intern. I'm surprised no asked why he just disappeared into thin air.
Well... the Nanny broke up with him and got fired from the Police. Why would anybody ask about him? Disappointing final to me. The season had some moments, but nowhere near as good as some of the other seasons. Like someone else said, there's too much of a soap opera feel to the show now.
It was just an odd loose end to me. The fact that he disappeared wouldn't make its way to the police department?
Great episode, really hope they make Hannah a main plot in season 8, she's one of my favourite characters.
I thought it was an awesome episode and a great finale to a great season. Debra has improved tremendously acting wise. Her shooting Laguerta and breaking down right afterwards was good acting. Can't wait till next season. Think Hanna Mckay will be back hopefully. It'll probably be about Dexter trying to get away from all of it. And two out of the three Dex/Deb/Hanna will die.
Yeah, fair enough. I guess that one just never really bothered me. You would loved the episode no matter what, as long as Hannah didn't die.
^^ The moment Hannah dies or leaves will be devastating to me. Pray they end season 8 with them as a happy couple.
Great great finale, iv'e been blasting the show about falling off and not being on par but this season has been great and the finale acting was awesome. The two best scenes were Dex and his dad at LaGuertas house and when dex was killing Estrada. They will frame it out to be that Estrada killed Maria and got away possibly.
Deb is going to be so emo next season her character will be unbearable. Hopefully we'll see a lot of Hannah to offset this.
So did I miss a scene? How did Hannah escape? A remember a scene where she takes the fake pill, convulses, and is strapped to a gurney. Next time I see her she is out puttinga flower at Dexter's door. What did I miss?
She was taken to the hospital remember, the two guards that were supposed to look after her went off to help the other nursing staff and that's when Hannah escaped.
Yeah, a woman on trial for murder escapes and somehow a whole police force isn't alerted to this fact all evening. Then she proceeds to return to her boyfriend's house. Despite the show's obvious flaws, I did feel this was probably the best season since 4, which really isn't saying much when you compare to how bad 5 and 6 sucked.
Yeah, I stopped paying attention to the plot holes a long time ago. The only reason I watch now a days is for an entertaining story and I like the characters.
