    Both times he talks so much smack about Lin only to see Houston blow us out and embarrass us.

    Don't forget that cheesy asterisk ascent to the finals later, where they were dominated by a Spurs team that was only slightly less fat and slow than everybody else had gotten during that long lockout.

    The Knicks have accomplished literally nothing in almost 40 years. And the worst part is their fans have no sense of their own history, that culture of either mediocrity or failure. I was reading Knicks fan posts after a fast start like "anything less than a championship or Finals appearance would be a disappointment for them." Word? You're the Knicks though.

    Fishing for schadenfreude. Knicks culture is to set expectations unrealistically high only to have them destroyed later on. It's the legitimate surprise and the tears during those moments of destruction that sustain us. They sustain us all.

    Ya the Knicks fans know they can make the playoffs winning under .500% of their games, and we are in the TOUGH WEST. NY fans are the biggest bandwagon fans, and so fickle!

    When I was skimming through the realGM knicks forum, I found it funny that they were making excuses for the loss because they didn't have Melo. I think they forgot about the first game where they did have Melo and still got blown out. har har
