have to have the spot prior to the trade.

I suspect Cook would be the one waived. Expiring, not in long term plans, could be claimed by some playoff team looking for depth (=savings). Maybe Aldrich.

I'd be surprised if they give up on Machado so soon.

I've heard whispers that CP3 isn't as enamored with the Clippers -- or playing with Blake -- as advertised, but since it has come from execs on other teams, I'm a little wary about how much credence to give it. They're still very thin on the front line, particularly when it comes to scoring in half-court sets. If they get to the conference finals, it would be a significant accomplishment. CSNBayArea.com

Clippers are on a nice little win streak and are firmly entrenched in the upper eschelon of the Western Conference. I don't know why he wouln't be satisfied, unless he's frustrated that Blake is injured still (elbow).

    A few scenarios...

I've been reading some rumors and have heard JJ Redick is potentially on the move. Minnesota is a potential player for Redick. Hopefully Kevin Love is still unhappy with his situation in Minnesota. Each team would receive the following players.

Timberwolves - JJ Redick, Patrick Patterson, Carlos Delfino, Johan Petro, Magic's 2nd round pick.

    Houston - Kevin Love

    Atlanta - Marcus Morris

Magic - Houston's 1st round pick (via ATL)

Also hearing rumors of Toronto wanting to wheel and deal.

    Houston - Kevin Love

Timberwolves - Bargnani, Delfino, and Patterson.

Raptors - Pau Gaso, JJ Barea, Lakers 1st round pick

Lakers - Jose Calderon and Marcus Morris.

I know Kahn is an idiot, but he would immediately hang up if he got those trade proposals.

The new word is that the Magic actually think they're in the playoff hunt this season, and so will try to hang onto J.J. Redick for as long as possible before finally trading him before the deadline.

You think J.J's father ever thought "Yeah, I'm just going to stick with this last name. There is no way in the world anybody would ever find reason to make fun of this. Redick. We're sticking with Redick. Yep. Redick always."

Douglas trade value going up every game we need to sell him high. What do you guys think his value is right now? If we can't trade TD at deadline, what could we get in off season maybe a couple of 2's like we got for Camby.

Douglas is our best 3 pt shooter, and our best on-ball defender, why trade him?

He is on a 1 year deal not in future plans so you deal him when his value is high. You do know this years win/loss record isn't the #1 priority.

With Raptor pick going to Minny as well from OKC.

    Why-

Minny- If Kahn really wants to trade Love I think a package like this would be something to consider. Shed salary, get rid of Barea's contract as well as brining in a ton of young players with upside + Raptor pick.

OKC- Asik is everything they wanted Perkins to be and would be much better next to Ibaka. Ppat is another role player off the bench for them. Much better pieces for a contender like OKC.

Hou- Kevin Love and James Harden. We need this! The loss of Parsons will hurt (I'm sure Morey will try to retain him if possible), but I'm pretty sure we can sign Iggy over here to fill the void in the off-season.

Or more likely, OKC would cut us out and get Love. If the pick is such a central part to the deal, they don't need us.

What would ut take to get Iman Shumpert from da knicks I wonder, I think he would be a perfect fit for our team. He is very athletic and a very good defender. Would have a great guy off the bench and that could provide some tuffness and even more speed and athleticism.
