Yeah I always wondered who actually falls for that stuff, but some do eat it up. And it always seems to follow their best individual performances, when they're really emphasizing the team effort line, "it's not just about one guy", the faux blue collar talk etc. It's pretty clear he does consider himself "executive class", in that moment, just feels that he doesn't get enough executive credit. I also liked "No more complaining!" immediately followed by "The refs didn't call a good game today!"
