Are there any recent pics of James Harden without the beard? It seems inconceivable of time before he had his beard. Here are a couple of older pictures of him without the beard. He doesn't even look like the same person. I wonder if anyone would recognize him without it?
I can't imagine Harden without a beard playing on the court. His old-man game style fits the beard perfectly. Maybe if he loses his beard he will start taking advantage of his athleticism.
They were actually talking about Harden's mother and him discussing or her wanting him to shave the beard. I think he looks better without it then, but now it seems he has some hamster cheeks but definitely trimming that thing would help. I wonder if the Rockets have requested or maybe even have it in his contract that he needs to keep the beard because of marketing purposes.
He's already said that he will not shave his beard for the duration of his pro career barring any unforeseen circumstances, and rightfully so. He is widely known for his beard, and I'm sure he enjoys how much his fans love it.
It's a scientific fact that the beard makes you less aerodynamic. He could have been faster if he didn't have that bunch of hairy stuff on his face.
